Posted • Lebanon is a country rich in cultural heritage and with a complex history paved with many difficulties, each of which its people have fought to overcome. They are now facing a crisis like none other, even before the catastrophic explosion of recent weeks their country was in political and economic turmoil, compounded by the pandemic.
One of the countries most ancient exports is wine, a product so prized it was shipped out across the world by Phoenicians over 5000 years ago. The industry has grown and developed since this time and now makes truly world class wines.
Berkmann Wine Cellars is the distributor of the oldest and largest winery in Lebanon Château Ksara. To help support Lebanon and to celebrate the culture of this great country their senior wine buyer Emma Dawson MW is planning a
charity virtual wine tasting event.
All participants in the tasting will purchase a case of six Château Ksara wines at a special trade price from Berkmann Wine Cellars. Three of the wines in the case will be used for a virtual tasting held on Zoom on Thursday 27th August at 7.30pm.
