Last week our Sales and Buying teams were in Bordeaux tasting the 2023 vintage, finding wines that are true reflections of the terroir and that the best ones are worthy of a place in your cellar.

Situated in the heart of Panzano’s Conca d’Oro, one of Italy’s greatest terroirs, the Rampolla family produce exceptional wines with a heavy emphasis on minimal intervention winemaking. Biodynamic since 1994, their extraordinary vineyards date back to the 1960s although the land has been in the family since 1739.

From the fantastic 2019 vintage we offer Rampolla’s flagship Sammarco, their consistently top-scoring d’Alceo, alongside a very limited quantity of their incredibly pure 100% Merlot, the 2021 Liù.
