Element Wines was started in February 2018 by Simon and Steven to import wines we love from small estates we have visited over the years. Our producers work organically, biodynamically and sustainably to make wines with a sense of place, as well as respecting the land from which they come. Chemical use is minimised – or in some instances, done away with altogether – in both the vineyard and the ce

llar.

Our wines can be found in many of the best restaurants in the UK and special selections of them are also made every month and delivered to our wine club customers.

We like wines which are bright and characterful, alive and vibrant. We don't work with massive, heavy or over-oaked wines that can overwhelm you. Ours are exciting wines, that go well with a great meal, but most importantly, taste amazing!

Between the two of us we have more than forty years of experience in all parts of the wine trade and have tasted a few bottles…

We've just opened our first online shop working out of our bonded warehouse in Glasgow and delivering across the country. Up until now we have only sold our wines directly to the trade but now we can send you the wines you drink in the great restaurants we work with.

Introducing Lambrusco form .

Founded in 2005 by Giuseppe Fangareggi, (the family has been growing Lambrusco since the 1800’s). Today, Giuseppe's son, Matteo, runs the farm along with his mother, Margherita, and his uncle, Roberto. Giuseppe and Roberto take care of the vineyards. Their wines are produced from the family's 24 hectares of vineyards spread across eight parcels in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena. Vineyard work is done by hand and the vineyards are practicing organic - the started the process to be certified in 2021. In the cellar, Matteo uses only indigenous yeasts for primary fermentation to produce six types of sparkling wines, both red and white. We are going to ship 6 Lambrusco to start with, these are all super gastronomic wines. Vigna Rosa and the Biancospino being big sunny apero style, Bragher - long lees contact and amazing on the palate, the two more classic Lambruscos - Puro! - has a little grip and brilliant acid with Vigna Nera having a nice little bit of residual sugar balancing the tannins. Melodia is a 5.5% ‘lil sweetie that will be amazing with desserts and basically at any time.

New producer!

Domaine Combe Queyzaire, 3 hectares in Saint Nazaire worked by Denis Deschamps. Denis spent 18 years at the helm of Les Vignerons D’Estézargues - the amazing small co-op near Avignon. We’ve shipped wines he has had a hand in for ten years now and are very excited to land wines from his new gig soon.
