Prunecchio - Fattoria di Sammontana

Blend of different grapes (sauvignon blanc, trebbiano, malvasia) which are all grown on the estate. Together they make a wine with a ton of drinkability. A great example of aromatic Italian white, think a touch of citrus, white flowers, quince with yellow fleshy fruit. This is a unique bottle to get stuck into.

Xi-Ro - Ktima Ligas

A wine that really is brilliant in all occasions. A blend of Xinomavro & Roditis, this is lighter style wine with depth to it. Enticing red fruits, touch of spice and herbs all work really well together from this brilliant Greek winery.

Zweigelt - Malinga

Light but still full of character, this is a bottle that will keep you coming back for more. From a natural wine project run by Christophe Heiss, you can expect a wine personifies easy drinking. Soft red fruits, plums, raspberries, nice acidity, we love this.

Lithos - Domaince d’ici La

100% Fresh. 100% sharp. 100% Chardonnay. From Bugey, this a great vibrant wine, packed full of orchard fruits, touch of pineapple and all that really lovely stony minerality to keep things fresh. A wine that shows the pure potential that this young winery has.

What is the fuss about natural and organic wines?? What is even the difference between the two?

On our shop our focus is on organic and biodynamic wines. For us we want to work with winemakers who encompass the belief that the entire environment around making wine respects the earth. Producers who work sustainably to ensure there is a legacy left and importantly what you drink reflects where it came from - not concocted through science in a laboratory.

We want to sell wines we are passionate about ourselves. We want to drink wines that cut the cr*p.

Hello highlands and islands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍷

As Scots with family up north, we know how difficult, tiring and expensive it can be to get things sent, especially heavy and fragile items like wine.

Having to more often than not, pay huge surcharges and delivery costs just to get things you want, or sometimes not even falling within delivery limits.

But as a Scottish company, we thought enough was enough. We believe in great wine for all, and that includes delivery. So as wine lovers, we are doing our best to minimise the delivery charges we pay for shipping so that we can pass on that saving to you. And of course allowing you to buy whatever number of bottles you want and not make you pay extraordinary delivery fees.

We don’t think you should be penalised for living in a certain place. Simple as that.

It’s wid and challenging flavours are easy to embrace from this most ancient style of winemaking in recorded history.

The complexity, juiciness and texture make it the perfect wine style for pairing with food. Bold enough to stand up to strong flavours but gentle aromatics to balance and acidity to cut through richer dishes. You get the idea. This is a style of wine not to overlook.

There are lots of things we love about wine, especially growers that define those very things that we are passionate about ourselves.

Since taking over the 200 year old family estate in 2006, Alwin & Stefanie Jurtschitsch have proven just how much making wine is more than just a variety or a place.

From their sense of teamwork to them embarking on a series of projects and experiments to build community - this is a producer we really do love.

And this bottle really showcases how insanely talented they are but also how incredible the grape St Laurent is.

This is a MUST taste bottle with a story to tell. A story of helping to reclaim old vineyards that have become a jungle after the previous owner passing and simply the Jurtschitsch teams passion to help out in anyway possible. are an insanely talented young project from France shaking things up. Employing all the approaches we love here at SommCellar - an eclectic range of wines, working with highly respected winemakers, doing what they love, and only working with organic fruit.

This one is from a small parcel of wines in Corbiere, Languedoc. A blend of Carignan, Grenache & Mourvedre, making this a juicy red bursting with soo much fruit, it is simply a joy to drink.

This is Nero d'avola as it should be. Grown in the hills of Sicily, this well-rounded bottle has great flavours and it perfect as a winter warmer.

The name Kerasos is Greek and translates as cherry, and there's a good reason for that. Lead by explosive cherry aromas, undertones of red fruits keep the cherry in check and a hint of balsamic follows along closely. On your first sip you'll notice that this is a particularly warming wine, with the flavours complemented with tannins and acidity that create wonderful balance.

This is a classy bottle that is incredibly moreish and just asks you to sit back and enjoy.
