Hi family, friends & neighbors. Over the last few weeks we have had multiple brazen thefts in our store and we struggled with ourselves about whether or not we should share these incidents. Initially we thought to keep things quiet and take the losses privately but very recently we went through another one of these incidents and we can no longer stay quiet about these robberies. Our employees have been uneasy and we want to make sure they know we are taking action to hopefully prevent future incidents like this.

This series of photos depicts the first of these thefts that we personally witnessed. Two men came in and one started up a conversation with one of our employees while the other gentleman he was with decided to help himself to multiple bottles of liquor and walk out without paying. Once his friend noticed that we got the bottles, he immediately stopped conversing and walked out along with his friend. We will be sharing more in the future. If you are based in the sunnyside/west portal/glen park area then please be hyper vigilant as a shop owner. We have already seen a decrease in sales from the ongoing Covid pandemic and cannot afford to keep taking additional monetary losses. We hope that these photos bring awareness to those in our neighborhood and that you all stay safe out here in the Bay Area.
