After a beautiful summer of sunshine, we are refurbing our back garden to make it more winter-friendly and buggy-friendly. More room, flatter, level flooring and some resurfaced tables. Winter lighting and planting 🍃 is coming! Progress is thanks to the lovely team we have working on it - Thanks guys ❤️ (also thanks to our staff for working around it! ❤️) We are open as normal and have seating inside - also adding to that too for rainy days x

⭐️ ⭐️ NEW COLLAB ALERT ⭐️ ⭐️ 🍺 We really haven’t done enough collabs over the years, so we when we do, we thought we probably shouldn’t mess about.
🍺 Yeah, we really couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we have teamed up with the one and only to come up with what we think will most likely go down as being the best beer in the history of the world….ever. 😜
🍺 We called it Uncharted Waters, and having a bit of fun with the old saying “The sun’s over the Yardarm, time for a drink….” the extremely talented came up with this very cool piece of artwork, flipping the saying on its head and drawing the Deya Croc grabbing on to the Yardarm of his little lava resistant boat and cruising over the sun. 🌞 🏄‍♂️
🍺 For the recipe we went for a dialled down take on one of our all time favourite DIPA’s, Sound Machine Groove. 🤤
🍺 We hope you like drinking it as much as we loved making it (👀 watching head brewer Gareth make it).
🍺 It will be here for a good time, not a long time.
🍺 Oh yeah! … and we will be celebrating its launch, week commencing Oct 16th btw, with a limited run of commemorative t-shirts. Swipe ➡️. Available exclusively in store. 10% of sales of which will be donated to our local food bank.

A lot of enquiries recently about Wine Tastings so here’s an update. 🥂 A full events calendar including Wine Club and WSET L1 and casual tastings will be up next week. Drink+Draw will be introduced alongside a pottery workshop next month. Bookings for September and October will go live in the next week or so. 👀 for tixs, they do go fast 🏃‍♀️ Cheers guys, lots more fun stuff in the pipeline, can’t wait to share 🥂

Coffee…One of our great loves. (Possibly because we have a lot of children 🤣🥰) In Yardarm we use on the machine and sell beans that we can grind to order. We also have Marsha’s -(Leyton local and lovely ❤️) Next door we have our fav coffee accessories - pour over brewers, Aeropress, V60, all the best filters and some locally made espresso and coffee cups ☕️ by and .are.clay.uk Cheers to mornings! ☀️

Today we took all the wines off the shelves and put them back again 😵‍💫🤣Here’s the reason…..Do you know what wine you like but not necessarily why you like it? Hopefully our new layout can help. We’ve had a good old sort out and grouped similar styles together so that if you have a favourite bottle, chances are there will be something similar on the same shelf allowing for a bit of an explore of other wines without totally leaving your happy place! 🥂 🍷 🍾 Keep your 👀 for food pairings coming for each section too. Xx

Next 🍷 tastings are up. Excited about these. The 21st will be a bit of tasting technique and mostly stories of what makes some of our fav winemakers tick, what matters to them and motivates them to make their wines. Some are love affairs with partners, most of them with a place or the magic of experimentation and fermentation. Wine Club relaunches too for anyone who has completed WSET L1/2 with us. (Or if you are happy with me going down detailed wine rabbit holes!) every month we look at a specific grape, region, sub region, winemaker or technique. Did you know we also do private tastings? We found a reveller outside this morning! It’s our birthday 🎂 today! 7 years ago (with only our first tiny baby bump) we opened the doors to Yardarm; a love affair with each other, building work, wine, coffee and all our favourite treats. Today we’d like to say CHEERS 🥂 to everyone who has supported us. Looking forward to the next 7!
