Slovenia Wine Tasting - Wednesday 8 June 2016

In the back of the shop, sandwiched between Austria and Germany (not too accurate geographically!) is a range of wines from the Santomas winery in Slovenia. Customers often say ‘ooh that’s interesting’ and ‘I’ve never had wines from there before’ and then buy something they are more familiar with. They are very good wines and now is your chance to taste them!

As usual, the tasting will begin with a glass of fizz (Austrian, not Slovenian) followed by white, rose and red wines from Santomas. The local red grape Refosk features strongly and the Reserva quality wines are outstanding.

A selection of breads, cheeses, charcuterie and olive oil from the Santomas olives groves will be provided.
