Hello again from Sunny Rosewell ( actually dull and damp today!)
In case you haven’t heard, the new wine store in Morningside, Against the Grain, will be stocking Winters Tale and Walnut Brown plus Goulaine Sauvignon and La Baume Viognier and Domaine du Cleray Chardonnay from this weekend. Pop in and say hello. I’m not involved with his enterprise but I’ve suggested these old favourites might be in demand. I’ll pop past myself soon.

In response to yesterday’s posting I’m doing some research into availability of Winter’s Tale Sherry. I’ll keep you posted. I’m working on possibilities with my old supplier!!

My shop has now been closed for 14 months. I retired after two 10 year lease periods. At 68 years of age it was a good time to go. Life is busy. I miss my colleagues and customers but good things don’t last forever. I see a new wine store in Morningside. Please show them the support I received and maybe they can get through the next 20 years. It was never easy but it was exciting and rewarding, if not financially, socially a great place to be.
