Hello Neighbours! Will you help us by signing our petition?

We are asking to have the bus shelter in from of our location moved so that it no long blocks us. We've been open for 10 months and new neighbourhood customers are still walking in and telling us they never noticed us until that moment. Château Haut Rigal , Bordeaux

Brilliant blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon. Attractive ripe melon and gooseberry with waxy notes and hints of minerality. Round profile, soft textured fruit unfolds over gravelly mineral notes that hold onto a long finish.

‘Soleil Blanc’ is the fruit of a meeting between winemaker-grower Marielle Baissas, and Catalan artist Jean-Philippe Henric, born in 1986 in Perpignan where he lives and works. He creates on different media and in different styles: paper, collage, canvas, ceramics, digital art, etc. Like his production, his inspirations are diverse, from Prehistoric art to Jean-Michel Basquiat, including cubism and arte Povera.

WINE TASTING EVENT:

We a super pleased to be able to bring you this next guest from Rioja, Spain. Daniel Velasco of Finca La Emperatriz. A historic vineyard once owned by the Empress of France, wife to Napoleón III (himself the creator of the “Cru” system in Bordeaux), at almost 600 metres above sea level in one of the coldest areas of Rioja. The very pebbly soils make it the ideal vineyard for producing fine, elegant, long and tasty wines with great cellaring potential; personality in its purest form.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

This is our proprietor, Nelson Abreu, with his beautiful mother Olivia. Olivia and her husband moved into the building at 226 Christie St in the early 70s. Nelson started his wine importing business 20 years ago out of that same building. This past January, Nelson also opened Fine Artisanal Wines & Food in the building. We exist because of Nelson's mom! We are grateful for Oliva and all the mom's (and dad's playing both roles) out there making good things happen. We hope they all have a lovely weekend. Cheers everyone!
