You may have heard the rumors...

And they're true: like others in the neighborhood, our building will be demolished and we are planning to move to another space. We have been actively looking for a new location and hope to reopen as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there are many bureaucratic hoops to jump through with a liquor license, so there will be a guaranteed interruption of service after we reluctantly close our doors on Sunday, February 26th.

This news has been a hard pill for all of us to swallow, but we're really excited to reopen in a new location and we hope you'll support us all month long by wishing us a BON VOYAGE! We have a ton of fun events and amazing discounts planned for the entire month of February to celebrate the incredible time we've spent with you all and to help us move on to the next chapter with a bang!

Last week we partnered with the incredible team at and for a memorable winemaker dinner with one of South Africa’s most influential winemakers, Ntsiki Biyela. It was such an honor to share the same room with this incredible woman and to hear her story. The wines are consistently delicious and we are honored to both carry her labels and share her story with you. What an experience! A huge thank you to , , , and to everyone who attended! Started in 2008 by Gianluca Bergianti with 16 hectares outside Modena, Terrevive literally means “living lands” and has operated according to strict biodynamic principles since day one. Their commitment to low intervention and to the ancestral method for producing Lambrusco results in wines of shocking immediacy, intense personality, and mouth-watering acidity.

One of the most unique and captivating Lambruscos I’ve ever had. Less than 100 cases imported so it’s Extremely limited. Only 12 bottles available. Get it while supplies last.

SOMOS, meaning “we are” in Spanish, is a collaborative project headed by Ben Caldwell and Mexican winemaker Mauricio Ruiz Cantu. Based in Mclaren Vale, South Australia,' the focus is on alternative varietals and making wines S naturally as possible. Somos’ Naranjito is made with Verdelho from a small biodynamically vineyard which is split into two portions - 50% spending time in barrel over fine lees, and the other 50% staying on skins for 180 days. Unfined and unfiltered, the resulting orange wine is vibrant in color and beautifully textured with notes of ginger spice, tangerine, and orange peel. A super new offering from this tiny McLaren Vale operation.

New Wine Alert: Wildmakers ‘Sabatico’ Red 2016

Wildmakers is a passion project started by winemakers and friends José Miguel Sotomayor and Luca Hodgkinson. Located in the Maule Valley in Chile’s Central Valley, they are deeply committed to low-intervention, organic winemaking and letting the vines’ natural expression shine through in their wines.

Their Sabatico is an organic/biodynamic blend of 50% Carignan and 50% Grenache coming from 100+ year-old dry-farmed vines in the region of San Javier, located 160 miles south of Santiago. All the fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeast in a mix of concrete vats, clay amphorae, and barrels. The wine is then aged in old 600-liter French oak barrels for 18 months. No sulphur is added. A lively and easy-drinking wine with deliciously juicy notes of ripe red and black fruits that finishes with a touch of jammy prunes and baking spice. Enjoy with a slight chill.
