Wine Australia will manage $ AUS 1 million to subsidize companies in the Australian wine industry, to help promote their wine exports to China, Hong Kong, Macau and the USA.

This aid concerns SME in the sector, which will be able to request a refund up to 50% of their expenses for 2018 (fairs, samples delivery etc.) within $ AUS 25,000.

According to the International Wine & Spirit Research, between 2016 and 2020, USA should see its wine consumption increases by 11.9% in value and by 6.5% in volume. In this case, USA would stay the 1st wine-consuming country.
