We are conveniently located in the heart of the Gion District, the home of Geisha culture in Japan! We are located right off of Shijo St. (Shijo Dori) in the Gion District of Kyoto. Walk along the north side of Shijo street (see Google map below). The Gion district is in Higashiyama, which is east of the Kamo river (Kamogawa). We are located near 3 train stations: Keihan Train We are about a one minute walk east from Gion Shijo Keihan station. Hankyu Train We are about a 5 minute walk east from the Kawaramachi Hankyu station (you must cross the river via the Shijo bridge). Kyoto City Subway We are a 5 to 10 minute walk south from Sanjo station.
