The Post Offices behaviour over the years has been appalling and I have watched the whole shabby treatment come too light and cheered as slowly the Postmasters began to be heard. Please, please, understand the majority of Post Offices have been bought with PostMasters own money and boycotting the Post Office only goes to hurt the people who have already suffered. So please support your local Post Office. Adrienne

Bread rolls FREE to anyone who can use them...
We have a bag of pre cut rolls that if anyone wants them can have them free of charge... Better than throwing them out as I hate wasting food.

We are open until 1pm whoever so pop in and pick them up.

This afternoon in the shop we had a couple of young lads who deliberately checked out the shop then one of them stole and ran off with a large bottle of vodka. With the help of Mandy, Steve Foyster and Lisa we were able to detain the other lad until the police arrived to question him. This was not an easy thing to do, also a very sad affair, leaving us all shaken afterwards, but without the help of Mandy and Steve it would have been impossible to achieve. So a very big 'Thank You' to Mandy and Steve two big heroes of the village shop.
