The Millstone, in the Good Beer Guide 2018, is close to South Gosforth metro station and close to Gosforth High Street, a traditional friendly pub offering a wide selection of beers/lagers and wines and some of the best local Cask Ales around all at very competitive prices together with a quality food offer, which is served daily!

FOOD AT THE MILLSTONE

"Possibly" the best Sunday lunch in Gosforth - choose from one of our freshly roasted joints, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings served from 12noon - 7pm.

Food served; Mon – Fri 12-8 Sat – Sun 12-7 If you're pushed for time at lunch, you can phone your order in and we can have this ready and waiting for you.

FUNCTION ROOM

If you have a special occasion coming up, make sure you keep our free-to-hire function room in mind! After being derelict for 40 years, our function room was brought back to life. Since then, it has hosted everything from art shows, folk festivals, business lunches to camera presentations. Accommodating for up to 70 people (or 50 if seated) this room is perfect for all occasions. We do provide catering, the buffet is optional you can cater for yourselves or we will do it for you! We have 6 rota Cask Ales, locally sourced from local breweries such as Jarrow, Stables, Wylam, Ouseburn, Mordue, Delevals and Allendale. We also stock national favourite “Bass”.
