In September 2005 The Whisky Exchange set up a retail outlet inside the Vinopolis Wine Tasting Attraction, situated on London's Southbank. In 2015 we opened a new shop on Bedford Street, between The Strand and Covent Garden, offering an even wider range of fantastic drinks. The Whisky Exchange shop give everyone an opportunity to see the extent of the range of whisky and fine spirits that we have

online in person, with the added option of on-the-spot advice about any of our products from our knowledgable, passionate staff. We also have the widest selection of world whiskies, gins, rums, cognacs and other spirits that you will find anywhere in the UK. Our range is constantly expanding and updating as new and exciting spirits and liqueurs are being released all the time. In our everlasting mission to educate and expand your palates we hold various tasting events. This not only gives you the chance to sample a range of expressions from a given producer, but also the opportunity to meet the people responsible for creating many of the products that we all enjoy so much.

This 1993 Glendronach single malt was bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange in 2019, after 26 years in a single Pedro Ximenez puncheon. You'll find aromas of orange, cherry liqueurs, plum skins and chocolate-covered walnuts filling the nose, complemented by notes of brambles, black cherries, cranberries and treacle toffee throughout the palate.

From our list of full-flavoured rums for summer, this 2020 French Antilles rum, bottled by 1423 Single Barrel Selection exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. Matured in a Port cask, you will find those big aromas of caramelised banana, mango, butter, pineapple, pine nuts and lemon peel filling the nose. Complemented by notes of cream, popcorn, papaya, brown sugar, vanilla and sultanas throughout the palate.

Guyana 1999 - 23 Year Old The Wild Parrot New Vibrations | https://bit.ly/3zW8UJq 🔗

This is a Guyanese rum, matured at source until 2002 before being shipped to the UK for a further 21 years of maturation. There has been aging in a single ex-bourbon barrel which has imparted notes of vanilla and spice to the incredibly fruity base spirit. You can expect stewed tropical fruits with liquorice, camphor and beeswax on the palate, leading to grapefruit and freshly cut ginger on the finish.

Few Rye Whisky 2016 - 6 Year Old The Heart Cut | https://bit.ly/3Wtq2zk 🔗

The Heart Cut’s founders Georgie and Fabrizio selected this single cask rye whiskey from FEW distillery’s warehouses, just outside Chicago. This small producer has been a key player in American craft distilling since its arrival on the scene in the early 2010s and it’s a real pleasure to see its whiskey being championed by a great UK independent bottler. Finishing in a French oak Sauternes cask has layered this rich, spicy spirit with bright citrus oils, honeyed apricots and hints of peach iced tea. The Heart Cut recommends pairing this with a low-ABV pale ale with lots of fruity hops and we couldn’t agree more with that as a combination.

A 2022-vintage Clairin that is made with the heirloom Madame Meuze cane variety at Arawaks distillery in southeastern Haiti. Distillation takes place in a homemade pot still, built by the owner and powered with an old locomotive steam engine. Ardbeg Vintage Y2K is a series of limited-edition single malts distilled in the year 2000. The first of these landmark whiskies is Y2K 23 Year Old, matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks for 23 years, this intensely sweet and sooty dram features notes of candied walnuts, lemon balm, linseed oil, and heather honey, all underpinned by rich peat smoke.
