International Riesling Day, March 13! NW Wine Academy 2017 Riesling (100% Riesling, Willard Vineyards, Yakima Valley AVA) has tropical aromas of pineapple with floral honeysuckle and notes of petrol. Off dry with medium acidity coupled with cinnamon and white fruit notes of lychee on the palate.

Meet John Darin, NW Wine Academy's winemaker

John Darin graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a BS in Wine and Viticulture with a concentration in Enology. He has worked in multiple wineries ranging from Santa Ynez, Paso Robles, and most recently at House of Smith in Seattle, Washington where he took on critical roles in wine production and cellar operations.
