Ted was a long time customer of Convenient Food Mart. I, Susan, have known him for 14 years. He was a daily customer. The owners even longer than I have.
I've enjoyed listening to his stories over the years. Ted was a Vietnam veteran. And I enjoyed hearing about his challenges while in the service, and even his funny stories. Once he told me he had met Marilyn Monroe and even danced with her. And I told him, "no way I don't believe you!"
He said, "Oh yeah! I have a picture!"
And the next day he did bring that picture. And the punchline was it was a Marilyn Monroe impersonator lol.
At Convenient everyone is family, customers included. Talking with Ted and waiting on him had become part of my daily routine. He will be greatly missed. Rest High Dear Friend.
