Heya team.

Was great to see so many people come through over the weekend last week. You almost cleared us out of all or t-shirts and hoodies! Thanks for all your kind words. It means a lot.

We've still got plenty of kegged beer, so will be opening up today and Thursday 3 - 7 and Friday - Sunday 2 - 7 if you want to grab some beer or one of the remaining tees.

Kia Ora everyone.

Apologies for the radio silence over this difficult period. As a lot of you will know already, we've gone into liquidation. Thanks so much for your support over the years. We couldn't have done it without you.

We're opening the Fillery for a bit now that we're in level two, to sell our stock in Welly. It'd be lovely to see your faces, and it may be your last chance to grab some (soon to be rare) Funk Estate merchandise and beer. So swing by and grab a rigger.

We'll be operating a 1 in 1 out policy in the shop, and will have hand sanitiser available for you.

We'll be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2 - 7pm. More details on how next week will look to come.

We've got our latest batch of Double Up DDh Hazy Pale on tap. This one is hopped with Eureka and CRYO Simcoe. It's tasting gooooood.

And on the the tunes today we're back on the classic. The Meters - Selft Titled, Curtis Mayfield - Super Fly and Parliament - The Mothership Connection.

We've got some B-Boy Mango Rooibos Sour cans instore now. They're also available on the online store for you out of towners. If you missed this beer last year, it was our GABS Festival beer, brewed in collaboration with our mates WEBSTER'S TEA and damn it is tasting good.

Also Threeway is both on tap and in cans in the fridge. This edition is a Juicy Sour IPA. As always made with our mates at Emerson's Brewery and Behemoth Brewing Company If you look closely you can spot our head brewer Shiggy's face on the label 😆

Yusss we've got two new changes on the taps today! And it's Taste The Funk Friday so swing through for some samples of our range on tap!

Super Afro Imperial Stout - our annual Valentine's Day brew has hit the taps. Big, bold and a beaut, sitting at 8% and boosted with chocolate, vanilla, honey, figs and maca root.

Also Threeway! Our annual collab with our mates from Emerson's and Behemoth. This year it's a juicy sour IPA, similar to the first mango edition, but now with Passionfruit! Juicy as.

Paired this week with a few funky albums. S*x Machine - James Brown, Sly & The Family Stone - Stand!, and one of our all time favs Super Fly - Curtis Mayfield!
