Yamazaki 18 Years Old impart a sweetness similar to dried fruits and a savory, chocolatey aroma. The underlying sense of maturity and deepness come from those component malt whiskies which have been carefully matured in Mizunara casks made of native Japanese oak.

The blend includes carefully selected vintages, married together by Suntory’s team of expert blenders. The addition of a few wine cask-aged whiskies in the blend delivers a round, well-balanced profile and immense depth.

Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji 2nd Limited Edition was released in 2015 to Commemorate Japan's highest peak Mount Fuji being added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013.

Hakushu 18 Years Old is comprised of carefully selected malt whiskies produced at the Hakushu Distillery and aged for at least 18 years. It is marked by an invigorating yet deep aroma with hints of ripe fruit and a subtle smokiness. Its complex richness and sweetness, as well as its fragrant cask aroma, come together in splendid harmony. The aftertaste is pleasantly smoky.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Ellen is the second in a series of special releases crafted using irreplaceable “ghost” whiskies and other incredibly rare whiskies from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label reserves. At the heart of this limited edition lies the highly sought-after Islay single malt, Port Ellen – a ‘ghost’ distillery that shut its doors in 1983.

In crafting Port Ellen, Jim blended the highly sought-after ghost whiskies from Port Ellen, Caledonian and Carsebridge, with five incredibly rare malts from Mortlach, Dailuaine, Cragganmore, Blair Athol and Oban.

The result is a whisky with layers of creamy vanilla sweetness and rolling waves of waxy citrus, rich malt and tropical fruit notes – all perfectly balanced by the distinctive maritime smokiness of Port Ellen that lingers in, the long and warming finish.

VICTORIANA SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Each cask is chosen for its rare character and exceptional maturity. Finished in deep charred oak, the result is an exceptionally smooth single malt whisky whose aroma and flavour work in harmony.

Bottled in the traditional way straight from the cask and without filtration, its subtle wood and vanilla flavour is enhanced by a full bodied spicy fruit aroma and mildly smokey aftertaste.

TASTING NOTES:

NOSE

Dark again. An elegant nose with hints of oak driving the bouquet. Interesting creme brulee notes leading to generous caramelised fruits and finally polished oak.

TASTE

Sweet and concentrated start with some jammy blackcurrant fruitiness. A big mid palate. Typical tightening towards the back palate. Becomes more austere with water.

FINISH

Clean and initially sweet.The green bean, with cocoa characteristic.

Midsummer Solstice is a small batch, limited edition from Hendrick's Gin.
It’s sweet and slightly fruit-forward on the nose. Fans of bold floral gins like Brockman’s may catch some similarities here. Like a holiday romance or the lifespan of the mayfly, Midsummer Solstice is a poetic expression of temporality. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Let’s celebrate the summer!

❷ 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸'𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗻
The new Hendrick's Amazonia Gin is especially exciting for extraordinary taste enthusiasts.
An exceptional gin with adventure in the rain forest 🌳
The new Hendrick's Amazonia Gin is truly exotic and will delight the world of gin. First of all, it is based on the original recipe of Hendrick's, so there is a well-known flavor of cucumber and rose. But this gin is anything but classic. For what gives him his special touch is his fruity taste, composed of rare fruits and plants from the rainforest as well as pineapple.

❸ 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸'𝘀 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗻
The moon doesn't simply just keep our tides working and act as a place to harvest cheese once we've run out. It's helped to influence all manner of people to create excellent things, from music and paintings, myths and legends, and even gin it seems! Inspired by a moonlit evening tending botanicals in the hothouse, Hendrick's master distiller Lesley Gracie has made Lunar Gin, a warming, spicy expression well suited to sipping while in the evening. Subtle peppery sparks, fragrant citrus oils and floral wafts abound here.

❹ 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸'𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗚𝗶𝗻
Hendrick's Orbium is what's known as a quininated gin, as it was distilled with additional extracts of quinine, wormwood and blue lotus blossom. Created by the legendary master distiller, Lesley Gracie, Orbium contains the same base distillates as Hendrick’s and is made in batches of just 500 litres.
The name Orbium derives from the word ‘orb’, the plural of Orbis and Latin for circle. Gracie felt this circular symbol represented the gin’s rounded character, and the ‘all seeing eye’ on the bottle design mirrors this theme.

❺ 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸'𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗻
Hendrick’s Orbium Gin is a limited edition expression based on their famous flagship Hendrick’s Gin. The base spirit and botanical bill is identical to Hendrick’s. Orbium also includes the cucumber and rose essences which are added after distillation. Similar to both the Hendrick’s Gin standard-bearer and their other seasonal offering Hendrick’s Midsummer, Orbium Gin is exceedingly floral at first nose. Rose, Lotus Blossom and some earthy background notes immediately distinguish it as part of the Hendrick’s Gin Family. The palate is dominated by bitterness. While other botanicals do have their moments, the end result of Orbium Gin sipped neat is simply put as follows: if you don’t like tonic water, you won’t like Orbium Gin. If you don’t like Hendrick’s (other) gins, you won’t like Orbium Gin. Sweet citrus notes and subtle chamomile early. Wormwood comes on mid-palate and for me is the dominant bittering agent present here. It’s not wormwood in the way that it comes through in a distilled product. It’s much more like wormwood-macerated. The bitterness is green, distinctive, and dries out the palate in a way that I don’t normally find quinine does. Quinine comes on most strongly on the finish, with a slight metallic tinge.

❻ 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸'𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗻
The botanicals in Hendrick’s are reminiscent of a very classic gin. Included in the eleven botanicals are the usual suspects including coriander, orris root, angelica root – and of course, juniper. Citrus makes up two of the key ingredients, namely orange peel and lemon, while there’s the warm spice of cubeb berry and caraway.
Rose and cucumber essence are what makes Hendrick’s really stand out – and possibly the reason we have the thriving industry we have today. These two ingredients are added after distillation to give it the bold (at the time) flavour we know today.

Gin Mare is pot distilled in an old chapel. ... The peels of both bitter and sweet orange and regionally grown lemons are macerated for a year in neutral spirit before distillation. The other botanicals are macerated and distilled separately all of the aforementioned are blended to produce the final Gin Mare product.
