Let's talk about this incredible sour beer from part of the takeover this week 😋

PANSORI 4%
Omija Berry Sour 🍺

The Omija Berry is known as the five-flavour fruit, delivering Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Salty and Spicy flavours. The brewery discovered this red Korean berry while on a trip to Korea a few months prior to starting up Colbier, and have been determined to brew a beer with it ever since. After asking advice from their friends they decided to team up to develop this unusual summer sour. And it's ridiculously delicious 😋❤️🍺

A very new brewery based in Liverpool brewing some very delightful beverages. After being sent a sample pack and really enjoying what they were brewing and having a good chat with them it felt right to do a takeover.

It's rare we do them at Beer Co. Usually once a year for but we thought maybe it would be a good idea to do one the week lands😊

The brewery have also been kind enough to supply us with a very generous give away for a raffle we'll draw on Saturday 6th of July. Similar to the takeover for beer week.

Every pint or can of Colbier you buy the week of the takeover we'll give you a raffle ticket that enters you into the draw 🍺🥳🍺 take a look at the second picture to see what's on offer. As you'll see it's not too shabby a prize 😍

We had a feeling we were missing something in May 🤔🖤

Of course it's the time of year we celebrate Mild ales(why may can't we change your March it feels like it makes more sense???) 🖤🍺

Unlike last years Mild Madness this year we haven't showcased a single one and it made our hearts feel empty 😪 so we just managed to squeeze one in before the month was over 🥳 and it'll probably be(not 100% confirmed) the last dark ale until autumn 🍂

And we couldn't have chosen a better local Mild to have than this belter from Blue Bee one of Sheffield's finest cask ale breweries. Its dark, its malty, it hold a magnificent head and it's ridiculously refreshing for a sultry dark ale 🍺🖤🍺

Make sure to come get some before pales once again dominate the cask lines over summer 🌞
