Plenty of fresh beer landing this week in time to be slurped before and during in Hillsborough Park this weekend. First up we have these three wonderful drops from the fantastic

- EASIER - Lovely smooth and fluffy Hazy Pale with lashings of Motueka, Citra and Mosaic. Expect tropical bursts of Lime, Mango and Citrus with a super refreshing finish. Beautiful.

- SUN IN YOUR EYES - Big juicy IPA with Kohia Nelson, Motueka and Simcoe hops. Tropical Aromas, zesty citrus and a touch of pine resin. The perfect balance of sweet fruitiness and a little bitterness.

- WHISPER - A returning favourite. Soft, light and juicy, the mix of Simcoe, Mosaic, El Dorado and Citra never fail to hit the spot. One of our go to beers.

- VISION - A daym jooosy DDH IPA brewed with Wigan's
Plenty of Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Galaxy in this one for white grape, Citrus and tropical flavours.

- GREEN APPLE SOUR - Bright green in appearance with sweet and sharp apple flavours over a tangy sour base. Absolutely delivers on the nostalgia of those sour apple sweets from the corner shop!

- DARK WAS THE NIGHT - A returning favourite, this Peruvian Dark Chocolate Stout is a silky smooth winner. Intense dark chocolate flavours from the cacao nibs overlay a classic Stout base with a slight sweetness of milk sugar coming through.

Oh Wow! The next three releases in the Goddess Series!

- AGLAEA - From the Graces subsection of the Goddesses comes Aglaea. A Goddess of beauty, magnificence and splendour, and now the face of this rather lovely Hibiscus Wheat Beer. The base Wheat Beer is Belgian in style with the classic lightness alongside flavours of light citrus fruit and honey. Added to the base are adjuncts of Coriander, Orange Peel and the Hibiscus 🌺

- LACHESIS - The middle of the three Fates in Greek mythology, and indeed in this section of the Goddess Series. This is a fantastically smooth Belgian Tripel. The typical Tripel flavours of caramel sweetness and a slight spiciness are all present. 🇧🇪

- ALECTO - Second in the Furies Section we have Alecto - Goddess of Anger. However, hopefully supping this Cinnamon French Toast Imperial Stout will leave you feeling satisfied and warm, rather than with an unceasing anger! Tartarus are brilliant crafters of Imperial Stouts with big coffee and dark chocolate flavours in the Malt bill. Cinnamon and Vanilla bring a lovely balanced sweetness to this sure fire winner! 🍫

Two fresh cans from , a small independent brewery in Co. Antrim over in N.Ireland. Their modus operandi is to use high quality ingredients and to keep the Brewing process simple and succinct. Watch out for a keg of one of theirs on the bar soon too!

- LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE - 🍬 A fantastically tart Sour beer with the additions of Rhubarb and Custard bringing forth those warm childhood memories.

- 4 STAR - Originally an iteration within their Not Bad IPA series, this particular Hazy IPA stood out. So rather than see it disappear it's been given its own name and set free for your thirsty mouths! Packed with Cryo Pop, Simcoe, Mosaic and Motueka hops!

- BLUEBERRY FREAK SHAKE WITH CINDER TOFFEE SPRINKLES - Wow! A Milkshake Sour absolutely pimped to the max, and absolutely crammed with incredible flavours! Blueberry, Vanilla and Lactose provide the body for sweet Cinder Toffee sprinkles and a little sour cherry on the top. 🍒 🐄

- STRAWBERRY, LIME & PINEAPPLE TWISTER - Sweet strawberries mix with sharp pineapple and lime for your favourite ice lolly as a sour beer masterpiece! Lactose 🐄

- MANGO & LIME POPSICLE - Super fun Melted Ice Lolly Sour with tropical mango and zingy lime over a Sour beer base. Vegan.

Those in the countryside had to wait until 1884, that’s assuming you were a land owner. If you were a servant, lived with your parents or accommodation provided by an employer it wasn’t until 1918. The very same year that SOME property owning women, over the age of 30, also gained the right for the first time. So just a reminder, especially if you’re working class or a woman, please go vote today!

NEW BREWERY! Launched in March this year, are Liverpool's newest craft brewery!

Currently taking over the taps for part of Walkley Festival, we thought what better time to grab some of their delicious cans ourselves!

- FORTE - Big punchy West Coast IPA with the classic Piney Bitterness that comes with it.

- PANSORI - This Berry Sour uses Korean Omija berries. Known as the 5 flavour fruit, Onija berries uniquely have sweet, sour, bitter, salty and spicy flavours. Hibiscus is also added to bring a summertime floral aroma to this unusual Sour.

- OVERTURE - Wonderfully juicy Session NEIPA with Simcoe and Citra hops to the fore. Super crushable and fantastically moreish.

We had great fun tasting these beauts at our Central and Eastern European Wine Tasting last night, and now you can too! As always huge thanks to KASK for supplying us with these amazing beverages.

For a limited time we'll have Wine Flights available so you can sample them. We've also got a fun Flavours game to play to see if you can draw out what aromas and tastes abound!

Of course, they'll also be available by the glass to drink in, and by the bottle to have with us or take home too!

A little bit more about and the beers we've got pouring today!

Based in Leeds, Piglove take their name from the Venezuelan expression 'cochino amor'. Used to describe a big, raw, passionate love in the way pigs love mud, for these guys it's craft beer and Brewing! Their beers are high quality modern craft beer but with unusual additions of ingredients from around the world to compliment the beer style.

KAAN - This Dry Hopped Pale is a collaboration with and has the addition of Yerba Maté. The Rakau and El Dorado hops bring earthy flavours with overtures of tropical fruit and a hint of spice. This is complimented by the herbal aroma, and slight bitterness from the Yerba Maté. Super refreshing.

PHANTASTICUM HOP HEALER - From their Phantasicum series of beers inspired by plants traditionally used by Shamans. The Hop Healer is a fresh easy drinking IPA with an underlying zingy citrus flavour. The addition of Chuchuhuasi, an Amazonian plant with a long history of Shamanic use, brings a savoury aftertaste to balance the zesty punch.

COSMOVISION - Beautifully deep and flavourful sour featuring Beetroot and Acerola berries with additions of Citra hops and Achiote. Sometimes known as a Barbados Cherry, Acerola brings a tangy sweet Berry flavour alongside the sweet earthiness of the Beetroot. The Achiote compliments these flavours but also adds a slight pepperiness to the mix. The blend of sweet and savoury with the bite of the sour makes this an absolute joy.

ENSUEÑO - The first ever collaboration by is this absolute banger of a 7.3% Hazy IPA. We did previously have a keg of this one and pounced at the chance to pour it again. Citra, Mosaic and Sabro hops bring citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and a hint of Coconut bursting through. This is complimented by the addition of Cascara, a dried fruit from which coffee beans are extracted. Definitely one of our favourite beers of 2024!

PHANTASTICUM LIMBUS - Described as an Amazonic Stout this full bodied dark beer has a subtle fruitiness from the addition of Ekuanot and Mosaic hops. Chuchuhuasi is also added to the mix with its earthy, woody flavours. 😋

The Pangolins are super excited to welcome this Friday! These 5 brilliant kegs will be pouring from 1pm with Marcos from Piglove joining us early evening. He'll be hanging out with us to answer your questions on any of the beers, or how a group of Venezuelan craft beer enthusiasts ended up with a brewery in Leeds!

OCH AYE! The Iron Brew from is back, and it's brought some funtime buddies with it!

- IRON BREW - Pretty sure this has reached Top Tier status now! The iconic Scottish pop made into an iconic Modern Sour Beer. Just as vibrant in colour and delivering that unique taste with an added refreshing sour bite 🫦

- CAPRI CRUSH - A perfect session sour with flavours of the Amalfi Coast. Super crushable with Italian Lemon Juice, Blood Orange and Guava. Just need that warm weather to stick around now... 🌞

- WHITE CHOCOLATE CHERRY CHEESECAKE DOUBLE SCOOP - A mouthful of a title for a mouthwatering luscious Sour. Mountains of Cherry and White Chocolate paired with a double helping of smooth vanilla ice cream, finished with the buttery Biscuit Cheesecake base.

- SEASON OF THE WITCH - Wonderfully punchy IPA showcasing New Zealand's Psychedelic Hop. Candied berries, tropical fruit and a citrus zing make this fantastically flavoursome. 🧙‍♀️

- RYE & EXALTED - Beautiful Rye IPA with a combination of UK and US hops for that classic dry and fruity flavour with a hint of spiciness.

- GIFT OF FINEST WHEAT - An Oak Smoked Belgian Ale brewed using a combination of Oak Smoked Wheat, Chit and Pilsner Malts for toasty biscuit notes underlying the subtle smokiness.

It's back! The 5th Pangolin Craft Beer Obscure Football Quiz will be taking place on Thursday July 4th. What better way to mark the general election than by trying to summon up the name of Ipswich Town's right back from the 1994/95 season?

And don't fear, there are no Euro 2024 games on that night so you won't be missing out on a potential defeat to Albania in the last 16...

First time stocking these guys for us! Based in Windsor were voted Best New Independent Craft Brewery at the SIBA Business Awards in March this year. As such they are definitely one to watch out for this year, and we're extremely excited to have their beer!

- MANTLE - Indie Rabble's core Hazy Pale. Packed with Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe for Passionfruit, zesty orange and zingy citrus flavours. Soft, juicy and extremely easy drinking!

- CRABRICORN - New England IPA featuring Mosaic and Vic Secret hops for big hitting tropical flavours. Beautifully balanced and wonderfully smooth.

- SPECTROLIUM - A second New England IPA but bigger in body and abv than the Carbricorn. This one is hopped with Motueka, Citra and Amarillo. Zingy orange, zesty citrus and a slight mojito lime character from the Motueka make this an absolute beauty.

- TINY VIOLENCE - Indie Rabble's first dark beer is a silky smooth and fantastically bold and rich Stout. Roasty bitterness and dark chocolate flavours from the Malt abound.
