We're delighted to welcome Mariella Romano to the shop tomorrow from 1.00 to 3.00 pm. She'll be hosting a free tasting throughout the afternoon of 3 gorgeous Arran single malts, with a tutored session at 2.00. Fabulous!

So we are delighted to announce that this evening, an emissary of the super-premium The Wiseman Bourbon will be visiting the shop, to do a tasting and presentation/discussion at 6.00 p.m. If the timing isn't great for you, he'll be with us until 8.00, so you don't need to miss out on an informative evening. It's chilli and tomato day in Adam's Apple greengrocers, a few doors from Oddbins. They're making it feel like a party, quite fabulously, albeit based on chillies and tomatoes. Come and join them, have a laugh, then come to us for the missing party ingredient. And maybe even have another laugh! Happy tomato day, all x

Hello everyone! You’ve probably noticed we’ve been closed for the past couple of days. This is due to Mike Stoddart and Ste Williams getting the dreaded Covid. Don’t worry, we have been banished to our bedrooms and are recovering. Hopefully the shop will be back open within a week or so. Fellow Travellers,

From Monday, in keeping with our duty of care to staff and customers alike, we will continue to encourage the wearing of face coverings in store. True, we can't enforce this, but with cases rising as quickly as they are and with many people still uneasy, it would be a dereliction of our responsibility to act in any other way.

In other news... we won't be limiting the number of customers allowed in the store at any one time. This is mainly to avoid conflict, although regular customers will already have noticed that crowd control is not always an issue anyway!

And finally, we are delighted to see our neighbouring businesses exercising similar caution, and we are proud beyond measure to be part of their community, especially at a time like this. Well in, folks! x
