Sea bream, tom yum yum & keffir lime. If there’s one thing you ought to order, it’s this. Fragrant, zesty and mildly sweet, we LOVE it.

Sunday is filling up nicely but we still have a few spaces available.
Friday and Saturday we still have plenty of space, DM or WhatsApp to book!

PS. Charlie is with us every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until March, so we accommodate any near future dinner plans you may have!

FORCED RHUBARB SZN

Forced rhubarb is grown between January and March, much sweeter, more tender and pinker than rhubarb grown outdoors. In our opinion, it’s the perfect accompaniment to the Mackerel dish on the menu this week, giving a tart edge to an otherwise richer, oilier fish. We LOVE it.

Sunday this week is filling up nicely, with some spaces still available. Plenty of space Friday and Saturday though, so DM or Whatsapp to book. And please, do yourselves a favour and order the Mackerel 😮‍💨

A HOT MESS

There’s nothing we love more than a messy table: empty glasses, scraped plates, cutlery in disarray… A sign of a very good time indeed, in our opinion. Speaking of good times, this weekend has been a pretty big one so thank you for making the end of dreaded January much more enjoyable. We’re open for dinner and wine this evening, if anyone fancies a last minute bite. We might even open something special if anyone wants to indulge a little after the first pay-day in what feels like forever?!

MASH & WINTER GREENS

This is yet again another post showcasing a dish from the kitchen of . A new one on the menu that is, in our opinion, the perfect winter warmer. This is to be had either on its own (because who doesn’t love potatoes) or to accompany other dishes, as we always recommend that you get at least one of everything… why miss out, right?

Friday this week is looking a bit full, however we do have spaces here and there.

I audibly gasped when I saw this dish on the pass last night. Just look at her! Lucky for you guys this is a new dish on the menu and it absolutely will not disappoint. How gorgeous do these bottles look all drenched in golden-hour sunlight like that… what a tease! Good news is that a delivery of wine just dropped and there are some absolute stunners going by the glass and some slightly more special things ,if you fancy splashing out on a bottle. Speaking of exciting bottles, one of Holly’s favourites from this assortment is the Marto Manna Rot a blend of portugieser and scheurebe from Germany: flinty goodness, charcuterie meats and juicy cranberries… go and crack one open with her tonight!

Sorry to keep you all waiting so long, but the good news is that your two favourites will be back behind the bar tomorrow. It was indeed a much needed hiatus, but we missed you all so much… In fact, we’re both dying to see you all again so we have an excuse to begin the new year by drinking loads of cool things… naturally. So, if you’re around this weekend and you missed us too, we’ll be ready and waiting with freshly polished glasses!

Going into 2025 with a bang, is back for another round of chef-ing in our little wine bar and we couldn’t be more excited! Bookings are open from January 10th and food service will be running Friday-Sunday 5:30-9:30pm throughout January. Well… We’ve finally made it to the end of the year and that means that today will be the last day we open our doors until 2025. We will be open from 3pm as a bar and bottle-shop for any of your new year’s eve wine needs, whether it’s a bottle to-go, or drink-in. So, come and say hello and send off the year with us and if you can’t make it to us today, then we wish you all the best for 2025. We hope it’s a good one!

CAV X CHARLIE X BUNCH

What. A. Weekend. If you’ve seen our stories you’ll be very much aware of how huge of a weekend this was… 300 plates of food, 20+ wine pairings, countless trips up and down our cellar stairs and a fair few bottles shared between ourselves to celebrate such an incredible end to the year for BUNCH. We honestly couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be ending the year on such a high, it really means a lot to us. With that being said, we are very much in need of a well-deserved break over the christmas period, so our opening hours are as follows:

Open 3-late Christmas Eve
Closed Christmas Day
Closed Boxing Day
3-late Friday 27th
3-late Saturday 28th
Closed until Friday January 10th

If we don’t catch you in the meantime, we hope you all have a lovely festive period, however you choose to celebrate and we’ll see you soon!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE

Wow, what a week for us! We think that last week was Bunch’s busiest week on record and for that, we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you. We absolutely love our jobs, of course, but all of you seem to be loving what we’re doing as well and it’s been incredible… So, whether you’ve just been in for a single glass this year, bought a bottle to-go, booked onto a dinner or you’ve stayed with us into the early hours sharing silly bottles, what a pleasure it’s been!

Dean and I are absolutely spent, but we’ve got one last instalment for you before the year draws to a close. We’ve got x doing their thing in the kitchen on the 20th and 21st of this month and my god what a send-off for the year it’s going to be. We’re beyond excited for this one! However, if you’re still in need of a last minute christmas wine and cheese fix, we’ll be open as a bar and bottle shop this week. BUT, please bear in mind that Friday and Saturday will be busy!

We can’t wait to see you all for the last event of the year, it really has been amazing… So once again, thank you all for being a part of it

So, every year we put out a call to see if anyone would like to purchase some christmas cheese from our lovely suppliers down in London . From festive classics like Camembert, Brie and Comté to something a bit more weird and wonderful, think Muenster, Epoisses and Roquefort… we’ve got you covered! We can even order in some chutneys and crackers for you, if you’re looking for some edible gifts or something as an accompaniment for your cheeseboard.

HOSPO NIGHT

Because all of the industry people we know and love who work all weekend, every weekend deserve something nice too! We’re going to be open on Monday 16th of December for a one-off hospo night with serving an à la carte menu for you all. We will be taking bookings between 6pm and 9pm and we might even pull some fun stuff out of the cellar serving some extra special bottles by the glass. It’s going to be a fun one and a way for us to say thank you to all you lovely lot who have probably made us plenty of post work negronis over the years… We hope to see you there!

🎈BON ANNIVERSAIRE 🎈

That’s right, it’s almost our 7th birthday! Seven whole years of keeping the city hydrated and what a fun time it’s been… Our actual birthday is on Monday, which means that we won’t be open to celebrate. So, this weekend we’re going BIG and we hope that you’ll come and cheers to seven years of us holding our little place on Berry Street. We’re going to be opening some really special bottles tonight and tomorrow and don’t forget that will be in the kitchen to feed you too! There are a few spaces available for dinner this evening but Sunday is FULLY BOOKED.

We hope to see all of you at some point this weekend, whether it’s for a glass or a magnum… Let’s cheers to 7 years and hopefully many, many more to come !

This is one we’ve been dying to get announced, will be joining Charlie in BUNCH Friday and Saturday, 20th and 21st of December for a seriously special menu.

Cavan’s been working magic in London, Paris and Marseille over the past 8 years, and to have him choose our little wine bar on Berry Street to make his long awaited return back to his home city of Liverpool, we’re extremely greatful. And excited.

He’ll be joining our current chef in-residency and it’s going to be a night to remember.
