⭐️ Free Cash Withdrawl⭐️

In our local community there is a lack of ATM machines. Banks are shutting down everywhere.

We looked at Google maps and from Drumbottie Stores & Post Office the nearest bank machine is a bit of a walk and we don’t even know if they are free of charge.

We pride ourselves in providing a service locally to our customers where you can withdraw cash of any amount for free. You can also withdraw cash to support other local businesses in the area!

⭐️Royal Mail Delay⭐️

We have been having delays with Royal Mail deliveries to our store especially with customers ordering foreign currency and having it sent to our store. Please can you make sure if you are ordering your foreign currency to be delivered to us or even to your home address, make sure to give yourself an extra few days. This is a UK issue just now with Royal Mail and we apologise to any of our customers who are impacted.

If you are using us as your collection for Amazon you may notice that we have two collection points when you go to pick your collection point.
Drumbottie Stores is via Paypoint. Post Office Drumbottie is via Post Office Amazon Hub.
Both can be used no problem!

☀️ FOREIGN CURRENCY☀️

Our post the other day about the current euro rates at the Post Office was so well received we thought we’d give another couple of posts focusing on some of the currency rates the Post Office offer.

For those travelling to Turkey, the post office are offering £1 > 36.9 Turkish Lira if you are buying £500. However if you buy £1000 the rate is 38.5 Turkish Lira.

Remember you can order your currency online at the Post Office and collect it at Drumbottie Stores and Post Office the next day.

Our Post Office services close at 7pm tonight but our store is still open until 7.30pm, so if you need some last minute drinks for the big game we are here for you!!

We are also open tomorrow morning bright and early from 7.30am so you can get the crispy rolls and the red bull. Our Post Office hours are from 8am tomorrow.

We have been having some issues with Amazon Hub since Thursday. We currently cannot accept any parcels for our customers to collect. Our customers are still receiving emails saying we have their parcels which we do not. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we are working hard to resolve this issue!

Following on with our postage information, we thought that instructions with our Evri service might be useful. Evri are now one of the biggest delivery companies who are used by retailers such as Next, H&M, ASOS, John Lewis and many more!

⭐️Drop Off⭐️

If you are sending an item using EVRI, all you need to do is bring your parcel and your QR code and we can print the label.

⭐️Pick Up⭐️

To save any stress if you are at work or won’t be at home, get your parcel delivered to us. Just make sure you bring ID when collecting.

Our EVRI services are open Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm and Sunday 9am-5pm

⭐️ How we can help ⭐️

Did you know that we offer an Evri service where you can pay and send your parcel in store? So if you struggle to work Evri online, do not stress!
Just bring your parcel to our store and we can help with the rest.

As well as sending throughout the UK, Evri also send to over 200 countries.

We have had a few new followers and we thought we would do a breakdown of the postage services that we offer this week starting with Royal Mail.

✉️ You can purchase stamps with 1st Class £1.35 and 2nd Class £0.85

✉️ Large Letter 100g is £2.10 for 1st Class and £1.55 for 2nd Class

✉️ We can also offer Next Day delivery and Signed for delivery!

✉️ You can also post parcels with us. We have scales at our counter so your price determines weight. However we have rough starting prices with a small parcel at 2kg £4.59 for 1st Class and £3.59 for 2nd Class

✉️ We also stock envelopes of various sizes, boxes and parcel bags that you can purchase in store.

✉️ You can leave your letter or parcel with us and sort the rest for you!

⭐️THE IMPACT OF PAYING WITH CARD⭐️

We read an article today about a local shop in the UK who when customers are paying by card for one onion at 40p, the business is losing £1,700 a YEAR. For a small business that is huge amounts of money. For the customer it is all about convenience, and with banks and bank machines closing it is becoming more and more difficult to access cash, hence why we are slowly becoming a cashless society.

This is where the Post Office can help support these local small businesses who cannot afford to lose huge amounts of earnings on card fees. We are here for you to withdraw money of any amount. Help us help our local businesses!

Drumbottie Stores & Post Office are opened for our normal hours throughout the entire weekend so if you or your business need to use any of our banking services we are here for you.

Did you know that for every cash withdrawal you do in Drumbottie Stores & Post Office, The Post Office give 1p to the Trussell Trust?!
Since November 2023 our store has raised £76.34!!

The Trussell Trust is one of the biggest organisations in the UK that deal with food banks all across the UK, helping support some of our most vulnerable people and making sure they get access to food when things are tough.
The Post Office are continuing to do this so we ask you to help support not only us but also the Trussell Trust.

Did you know that nearly 3 in 10 small businesses rely on the Post Office with using services at least once a week? It must be one of the few organisations in the country that offer so many services to small businesses under the one roof. We pride ourselves in helping support small businesses in so many ways.

⭐️Our Post Office services are opened from 8am Monday-Saturday and 9am on a Sunday. That means if you have anything to deal with before you start your day, we are open. We also close at 7pm Monday-Saturday and 5pm on a Sunday, so even after your work day you can still reach our services.

⭐️We can help you deposit and withdraw cash from your business account with no charges.

⭐️ You can use Royal Mail services such as posting letters and parcels from our Post Office. If your business involves a lot of sending parcels, you can bring as many as you need to us, we are happy to help!

⭐️ We are one of the few in the local area that offer Parcelforce services. So if your business requires you to post letters/parcels worldwide, we can help.

⭐️ You can deliver your work parcels to our store via Royal Mail, Evri and Parcelforce which means if your business involves you out and about during the day, not to worry as we can hold them for you until you’re finished!!

We pride ourselves on our drop off and pick up services. We can pick up your washing, ironing and dry cleaning, take it to our shop and drop it back off to your door! If you’re working from home, if getting out the house is a lot more difficult at times, let us help.

Isn’t it really annoying when you’re shopping/selling on Vinted and you’re having to drop off and pick up from various locations.

We currently offer parcel drop off and pick ups from Royal Mail and Evri which could help with a double drop off or pick up!!
