Bonus wine shopping time next week in the festive run up, usual hours this week then 12-6 weekdays next week just incase, then provisionally til 5 on Xmas eve, playing it by ear in the pre new year wasteland, that's prime drinking time but may also be a ghost town.

𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗳

make anti-industrial, unf**kedwith ciders on their farmstead in Sudkuv Dul. Which would be better described as a few hectares of wilderness that yield amazing food, everything is left up to nature. Poultry, bees, herbs, vegetables, Carp & trout - as intact an ecosystem as you could hope to find.

All made from Heritage Czech varieties grown in orchards around 80 years old. They're still planting new rootstock, that they will never taste, for future generations. No spraying, just a neighbour's horse manure for fertiliser while the local foxes keep the vole population in check.

Each barrel is a single varietal or single orchard blend. Spontaneously fermented by wild cultures, 12 months Sur Lie in 225L neutral oak. No sulphites, filtration, pasteurisation, fining, force carbonation, added acids, added tannins, added enzymes, sterilisation agents, anti foaming agents, colourants or artificial aromas. Incase you wondered what was in all that 'cider' that put you off for life. Amazing dry, still, glouglou natural cider.

Who me? Getting romantic about cider? Never. Thanks Somerset upbringing!

Also that ice wine is NUTS.

Hey, the internet, it’s been a while! I’ve been heaps unmotivated to post anything due to the general lack of hope for a future out there in the world and wanted to give a wee update:
I’ve had to move to save some money so my pals hallway is now full of wine, but I can’t afford to stock new stuff as my hours at nanika just kinda tide me over and having 2/3rds of my bank in boxes and bottles just ain’t happening.
So aye I might just make it all cheap and try to get shot of it, plus the shift patterns mean it’s hard to take in and do deliveries.
On the bright side I do have a business loan approved but thanks to Glasgow council and the general theme of now it’s impossible to do anything with so if anyone wants to open up something cool hmu I guess?
It’s also super hard to compete with all these companies that are basically amazon for hype juice or things run by dudes with architect salaries that do it for the yucks, this is something I want to do as an actual job but I’m sure everyone knows how hard it is to hold onto any sort of dream right now.
But aye that’s the lay of the land.
Cheers as 🍷🤙

Howdy howdy - while most of the wine world is spamming you with bank holiday stuff I’ve become one of the millions of victims of the end of furlough and had to find a new job (this wee gig isn’t even sort of full time financially) so today I will be in a whirlwind of sesame seeds and chilli salt making buns for all you fine people at nanika - which renders me unable to deliver your wine today. I’ll need to figure out a system going forward so aye keep a look out.

𝑭̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒊̲̅𝒅̲̅𝒈̲̅𝒆̲̅ 𝑭̲̅𝒊̲̅𝒍̲̅𝒍̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒔̲̅

Inspired by some evening drinking in a pal’s garden - here are the bottles I put in the fridge as soon as I got the invite! I know chilled reds are all the rage but folks are sleeping on some classics 🤙

Remi Sedes “Michto” - Blend of Melon B, Chardonnay & Sauv Blanc from Loire-ite biodynamic Gamay specialist - fermented dry and saline - awesome zippy mineral & citrus boy - it’s 11am somewhere!

Barouillet “Splash!” - this things like 9% - wild easy drinking pet nat with light tropical vibes and refreshing fizz - I like to kill a bottle while the pasta water boils.

Rietsch “Vieille Vigne” - AmaZing all Sylvaner from an Alsace institute - lovely and saline with a whisk of barnyard, apricot, mini mini mini marmalade and yellow fruits.

Man I got thirsty just tying that.

Lotsa lovelies from the Live Hill!

Petr Koráb is something of a staple here at JM towers and I’m excited as ever to have three fresh creations for y’all to get stuck into.

“Uncut Siller” - If you know, you know. Shimmering ‘lil foxy fox from wild growing vines. New vintage of my favourite!

“Natur Ryšák,, ,,on leaves” - Another bottle of ginger, this time made from Gewürtzraminer & Bläufrankish with the vine leaves left in contact for an extra dimension.

“Milkman Pet Nat” - Pinot Noir & Pinot Blanc Pet Nat that you could almost call a fizzy Ryšák? Orchard Rhubarb vibes.

Inspired by natty bro cringe posting and my perilous bank balance I’ve decided the MunJebel needs a-shifting and I’m passing the savings on to yoooouuuuuuuuuu!!!
Aye basically it’s all slashed to break even - I always wanted to make wine accessible and I’m not comfortable with the price point right now and there’s some dinosaur books and utilities I’m keen to purchase. Much love as ever X

Three new belters from 🤙🥳🍷❤️

After regenerating their grandfather’s old vineyard, Jose & Eva now farm grapes on black slate in tough arid conditions which leads to some amazing ripening - the hand harvested grapes are collected in small punnets before being vinified in steel and amphorae with ambient yeasts and zero additions or subtractions - I can’t wait to crack into these! All live now in the webstore!

𝙎𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙯𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩

Delighted to announce Judo Madonna is now a hypebeast account. A few of you have asked and I’m noticing websites cropping up with a lot of lies about allocations and working direct with producers so to help demystify these bottles and give folk the option to buy some sought after and very photographed wines from their local wine bam, I’ve got some Cornellisen classics in stock! All live in the webstore for collection and delivery 🤙🍷
