The 'Cask Doctor' non-return Tap and Extractor has now been in use for over 16 years and has proved to be very efficient in solving many dispensing problems. The tap is a compact double tap (with blanking nut for single use) with a positive acting 'open-shut' mechanism. It incorporates a 'back flow' control valve which prevents disturbance in the cask caused by back flow through the tap. A problem which can occur due to old or leaky beer engine NRV valves.
