New Cider Alert!

We're mega excited about this one: a new release in collaboration with the simply sublime

Grapes of Wrath is a bittersweet cider, co-fermented with Pinot Noir grapes. The result: rich, fruit forward cider, full bodied, well balanced & deep in colour (which is the important bit, right?).

Named after Mike the Maker's favourite book, with delivering a lush job on the label artwork- apples vs grapes battling it out, a clash of the tannins.

Available exclusively from our Tap Room, popping open this Easter weekend, fresh for Spring- come get stuck in with us!

We've been running our Cider vs Cheese sessions for over ten years now and they never get boring- spending an intimate evening feasting on the greatest cheese in the universe washed down with the finest cider we can lay our hands on is nothing short of dreamy.

The session rolls into Silverthorne Lane this week and we're mega excited: choice cuts from & to tuck into, with some brand spanking new ciders to match them up with including our fresh collab with - a first taste ahead of it's official Spring launch, rare Perry from and a new drop from too. The rumors are true, we've tracked her private jet over the Avon and can confirm, as we speak that is flying from Vegas straight into Bristol's own sin city, Silverthorne Lane this Friday for an evening of Back2Back Tay Tay bangers, served up with fresh brie on the house with all ciders. After a successful dress rehearsal this past Friday, we're going in full steam from 7pm through to 10pm this week/16th Feb at the Tap Room. It's free in, but to snare a table drop us a DM. We thought it was high time we did something fun with those inane & unrelated facts. Join us for an evening of speed dating at the Tap Room. On Feb 29th, obviously- a day laden with romantic expectations & wonder- we'll throw the doors open on Silverthorne Lane for a very special evening of cider enjoyment and match-making, with an exclusive VIP master of ceremonies to be confirmed, cider tasting flights, cheesy lines & cheese plates, lashings of mead and hopefully a handful of numbers swapped.

Around a year ago we hosted a Dog Drawing workshop at our Tap Room. It was barking mad & lots of fun, so we're doing it again, in March but first of all we need the dogs!

Any size/shape/breed welcome, must be able to keep still for 10 mins and ideally well behaved & happy around other dogs. We'll reward the owner with a drinks tab for the evening and the dog with treats & a new toy to take home. Hit us up with any suggestions!

It works well for group sizes of 30-80, we have lush ciders, craft beers, spirits & mixers plus nice softs/low/no alc beverages, a decent sound system and space to dance under the disco ball until the early hours. We've sold out of everything online for 2023, some tasty bits left in the fridge and out the boxes for local collection from the Tap Room including farmhouse refills- current faves Dunkerton's Late Sweet & Brown's Apple ready to decant into your bestest reusable container + some wheels of and a handful of and treats too. Lots of perfect stocking fillers for loved ones or for self indulgence; our favourite thing to do on Christmas Day is to hide under the stairs with a flagon of cider and a chunk of cheese, our phones on airplane mode (cheers for the tip!)

Some bargains to be had as we clear out ahead of a fresh start in '24. Free tote bags with all heavy purchases.

We're open Friday afternoon to evening, and all day Saturday. Swing by for a mulled cider or 6- we'll dish out the mince pies and maybe cut some cheese too- it's brie-ginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🌲🍎🫠

We've taken our sell-out Summer cider walks and doused them in hot spiced cider, thrown some fire torches in, added some mulled mead and chucked a merry tale or two of mistletoe into the mix: The result? Winter Cider Tours: a jolly jaunt around Bristol's historic harbourside laden with warm spicy things, led by a fire torch, ending in a cosy pub. Hibernal heaven. Not many things make our hearts sing louder than spending some quality time with friends tucking into a feast of fine cider and funky cheese. Which is what we do every Saturday afternoon at our Tap Room, in partnership with .yuup

It's a simple premise: whilst collecting tasty fermented juices in the week, we also pop in to our fave cheesemakers and share our findings at 2pm & 4pm every Saturday. There's a lovely old saying in the Westcountry, 'what grows together goes together' which couldn't be more apt for the abundance of good cider & cheese we find ourselves surrounded by in this great city.

Is it really that time again? We're calling it that time again. We normally wait til Halloween but the outdoor temps appear to have PLUMMETTED this week so here we are: you'll find our magical blend of traditional farmhouse cider, gently heated with spices from the East & served with a glug of pouring at our Tap Room from this Friday, alongside a handful of carefully chosen pubs & bars in town too. We'll also have mulled mead in the coming weeks that we cannot wait to share- it's on another level of niceness 🐝🍯😋
