Sorry guys another friendly reminder.

Please remember the staff who are in the shop are not the owners. We do not own any stock here. It’s not ours to give away or for us to give out for you to hand money in on another day. No other premises we are aware of do this either. We will not be doing ‘tick’ or ‘I’ll hand it in tomorrow’. It’s not our property and not our decision so please stop asking. We get our wages because we are employees, not managers or part owners. This is becoming a daily thing and people are genuinely unhappy and shocked when we say no. This is a business and our jobs. We are not prepared to be out of pocket for other people. We are very sorry if this offends or upsets anyone but this is a constant pressure being put on us.

Friendly post.

We know how hard things are with the cost of living and we do sympathise because we have hard times our self but please do not come into the shop knowing you do not have enough money for whatever you are trying to purchase. This puts the staff in an awful position. It’s not our job or our stock to just give away, we would have to take money from our own pocket to add up for any missing money. Arguing with staff over this won’t help either. If you are going to be verbally abusive you will be barred from the premises.

Anybody recognize any of these two gentlemen? These were the men who stood and watched Lauren clean and do her best to try and get his bank card working but of course they already had a plan in place. We've been made aware by another local shop that they done the exact same thing. We would like to make them to known to other local businesses.

One man lifted the bag of shopping and went to wait in the car. The other man was paying with card but it wouldn't work. He said 'I'll go get my friends card' ... but never returned.
