A light, vibrant ruby color and a fragrant nose with floral notes, pomegranate, and blood orange. This Barolo shines with finesse and feminine elegance—perfect for delicate dishes. Not your classic Barolo, but a unique gem! ✨

2️⃣ Luca Bosio Barolo
With its light color and garnet tinge, this 2018 Barolo offers notes of to***co, raisins, sandalwood, chocolate, and coffee beans. Dry and well-balanced, it’s a great introduction to Barolo. 🌟

3️⃣ Ca Bianca Barolo
Light ruby color and a pretty, fragrant nose with peppery notes and dry rose petals. Dry, fluid, and balanced—this wine showcases a classic Nebbiolo profile in Barolo form. 🍇

4️⃣ Michele Chiarlo Barolo
A more brownish hue with a ruby core, offering a sophisticated nose of blue and red fruits, sweet spices, and preserved fruit. Dry and enveloping on the palate with round, soft tannins. Bold yet elegant! 💫

5️⃣ Gheddo Barolo
Classic color with glyceric importance, featuring a straightforward nose of autumn leaves, earth, and dried mushrooms. Muscular and dry on the palate with substantial tannins—an impressive, robust Barolo. 💪

6️⃣ Broccardo Bricco San Pietro
Young with a violet tinge, this single-vineyard Barolo has a deep, austere expression with dark fruit, wet earth, and coal notes. Muscular and high in alcohol, yet succulent and explosive with fruitiness. 🍷

✨ A sip of Vigna Talin is more than just wine; it’s a story of perseverance, vision, and love for one’s craft. 🍇❤️ Drinking Vigna Talin Barolo is like immersing yourself in a masterpiece, much like Caravaggio’s “Sick Bacchus.” 🎨

Caravaggio depicted himself after a long illness, a period that shaped his art and spirit. Similarly, Vigna Talin Barolo comes from a Nebbiolo vine that, after an exhausting disease, produces a unique and extraordinary wine. 🍷✨

It took 25 years of experiments and critiques to bring the first 2013 vintage to life in 2019, as envisioned by Luciano Sandrone. Vigna Talin is vinified in large open-topped wooden vats, aged for two years in French oak tonneaux, followed by a year in large casks and an additional three years in the bottle. This process creates a precious, rich wine with floral and fruity aromas, and emerging spicy notes. 🌺🍒🌿

Like Caravaggio’s painting, Vigna Talin requires time to be fully understood. A celebration of love, progress, and perseverance. 🕰️🍇

A wine can tell stories, narratives. Every time I hold a glass, I pause and reflect on how much a wine can truly convey. I bring the glass to my ear, close my eyes, and listen. 👂

The white wine from Salento, a land of caves, ancient prehistoric dwellings where life found shelter, tells stories of the Messapians coming from Illyria. Grotta Romanelli or Grotta dei Cervi, to name a few. I look at the glass🍷 in front of me, the color of the sun ☀️ , golden with bright reflections, oily and viscous when swirled, an unforgettable color. 📝

I bring the wine to my nose and breathe in its origin, SALENTO, a land bathed by the sea 🌊 , made of red soil due to its iron content. Or perhaps red from the successive battles in this area during the Aragonese period, alternating with the prosperous times of the Byzantines, Angevins, Normans, and Swabians, who today leave us unique architectural and artistic gifts. 🎁

The wine on the nose 👃 is fragrant, intense, ethereal, with notes of white and yellow peach alternating with open flowers 💐 . Nutty, beeswax, and honey create an interesting retronasal bouquet, lightened by subtle marine hints. I bring the wine to my palate and, as I sip it, I let it swirl in my mouth. The Fiano grape explodes with its territorial fragrances and aromas—a dry wine but with a round and fruity drinkability. The beautiful combination of fruit and the wine’s sapidity is like having peaches and anchovies together! A full-bodied wine with a significant alcohol base that floods the palate with glycerin and roundness. Truly a wonderfully complex, refined, and delicious wine. A perfect companion to dishes of mussels, calamari 🦑 , and burrata with anchovies.

This wine, for those who have been to Puglia, understands, smells of the land and the warmth of the stone walls along the seafront that release heat, scents, and the laughter of passersby enjoying this endless place. Puglia.

The white wines of Piedmont, often found in the southern part of the region extending from Roero, Langhe, Astigiano, and Alessandrino, are characterized by their minerality and freshness, with a pleasant natural acidity. Fresh yet structured wines that create wonderful pairings.

In this soft, almost celestial light, three wines appear for today’s lunch. We bring to the table a Cortese di Gavi, with pronounced minerality and freshness, a Nascetta, an obscure but always delightful variety with floral notes, and a Derthona Timorasso, tenacious and structured, always interesting.

Perfect pairings: fish with the Gavi, fresh vegetables with the Nascetta, and white meats with the Timorasso. Here’s our Sunday lunch.

LAMBRUSCOOOO... what a wine, guys... and so much diversity! Did you know that Lambrusco has many varieties and styles? For example, you can enjoy a nice Radice with oysters and raw shrimp... A Lambrusco Rosso Viola with a nice, spicy winter dish like braised beef... There’s something for everyone and guess what? At Italian Wine Cellars, we have plenty, but more importantly, we organize Lambrusco classes... Bellone, which is not only a superlative for a beautiful man 🤣🤣🤭🤭, is also a Lazio white variety. offers a Bellone that is rich in fruits and mineral elements, a wine of medium complexity to enjoy at cooler temperatures but also less chilled, creating various pairings.
