Join us for a Ten Minutes by Tractor tasting! Saturday 8th June

Drive a little over an hour south from Melbourne and you’ll find Ten Minutes by Tractor perched atop Main Ridge at the heart of one of the country’s most lauded wine growing regions: Mornington Peninsula.

Just 20km east to west and sharing less than 1% of Australia’s land under vine, the peninsula might be small but it’s perfectly formed. Framed on three sides by ocean, and reaching up to 300m above sea level, it’s the ideal home for some of the country’s best cool climate wines.

Ten Minutes by Tractor is one such winery to call the Peninsula home. Here they craft beautiful expressions of regional staples, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from both lower and higher altitude plots as well as incredibly high quality examples of crowd-pleasing varieties including Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc.

Not long back from the region, Phill was enamoured so much of this winery that he can’t wait to share them with you!

We all need a little Valtellina in our lives!

We have long been fans of wine from this remote Alpine region in Italy’s north and the wines from are among our favourites.

These are lithe, svelte, pure nebbiolo’s which reflect the cooler altitude where they are grown and the gentle touch shown to them in the cellar.

Easter gift ideas 💙 Just in case chocolate isn’t your favourite.

Venus is Champagne from a parcel of fruit from of vines planted in 1959, a section that takes up just a minuscule 0.3 hectares. The cuvee is named after the horse that worked the soils for many years - no machines or tractors allowed.

But taste and quality is key above all, and this is possibly Pascal Agrapart's greatest wine - intense purity, crystalline power, so coiled and tense when released, with so much more maturity to unfold. It's just a great wine.

You couldn't find a Champagne that represents a greater contrast to the commercial industrial wines that make up a good portion of the region's production...
