Food & wine are a match made in heaven- as well as a personal match 😉- so pick what you like! 👍 But if you're looking for suggestions about what to pair with your Easter fare, consider this! 😋🍷🥂
🐖Ham: For whites: think Pinot Blanc, Riesling, or Gewurtztraminer. IF reds are you go to: Pinot Noir, Beaujolais, Gamay, Zinfandel, Grenache, or even a dry rose!
🐑Lamb: Consider Rhone-style varieties like Cotes du Rhone, Syrah, Rose or even Cabernet Sauvignon.
🐟Salmon: Fish and wine are great 'friends'. Think about Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio for something delicate, Chardonnay for something creamy and buttery, or of course sparkling wine!
🥦Roasted vegetables: Go with clean & crisp whites like Gruner Veltliner or even an Albarino.

🦃 Thanksgiving's Thursday! 😱 You know the menu, but which wine??? Don't worry! This is a day of family, friends & feasting with foods so varied you can't go wrong! 😊
🍷The best wine choices tend to be light-bodied, lower in alcohol, not too oaky or tannic, & higher in acidity. Think Pinot Noir, Beaujolais, Beaujolais Nouveau, Barbera, Chianti, Chinon, Mencias & Roses for red. And, unoaked or well integrated, lightly oaked Chardonnay, Chablis, Falanghina, or dry Riesling, or a bone-dry Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre, for delicious whites. Most importantly, be sure to drink what you like! 😋
🍺 Or, channel the Pilgrims & try a dry hard cider!
For a crowd, the NYT recommends you "pick one red & one white, & have plenty of bottles on hand, more than you think you need. One bottle per drinking guest is a safe estimate. She spent a decade in a hugely successful cover band in San Francisco performing with 80’s stars such as Thomas Dolby, Tiffany, Tears for Fears & so many more… These days Kate is focused on writing songs from the heart & self producing her first solo album.

🍀Festive! Fun! Green! Yummy! AND oh-sooo easy!🍀😄
Simply add Emerald Green fine edible glitter* powder to still or carbonated wine or other beverages & spirits & create a glittery hurricane in your glass!😲
Or make a Green Spritz with delicious P31 Aperitivo! Much like an aperol spritz, but in our estimation, even better- & green! To an ice filled glass, simply add 2 parts P31, 3 parts Prosecco, 1 part soda or sparkling water & a drop or 2 of lime juice.
Garnish with a wedge of lime, apple slice or orange peels. Perfect to today, spring, summer- anytime!🍀☀️😄
Want even simpler? Try adding 1 part P31 & Tonic water to taste! 😋😄

Where did the warmth go??? Gotta make some of our own! And since it’s ‘Chocolate Covered Nuts Day’, let’s go for some Hazelnut Hot Chocolate! 😋
Bring 2 C hazelnut or almond milk (available at Nature's Temptations in Ridgefield) to a simmer. Whisk in 2 T unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 oz chopped dark chocolate, 2 T sugar & 1/8 t sea salt till well combined! Pour into mugs & top with whipped cream if desired!
If you want to pump it up a little for the adults in the house, add a bit of your favorite liqueur or spirit- 🤔 , , , , or - Yummm!!!
