Sarah and Bernard will be sampling some amazing treats at à table and our wine store will be packed with some of our favorite vendors pouring some of our 109 favorites! Reds, whites, rosé and some bubbles! Also, we have local Ridgefield friend Chris Bishop pouring his new American Metal whiskey!

Our story began 23 years ago with a blind date, a kiss and maybe a Great Dane or two! We opened Cellar XV in 2002 (sold to Doug). Monica was missing her restaurant days and working with gourmet foods so the idea was formulated for 109 Cheese in 2009. I recall Monica coming home and giving me the good news that we were opening a cheese shop and she had found the perfect location, the Marketplace! I asked her what she knew about cheese and she smiled and put her head down and started reading. She is a foodie and loves farms and real food so it was a natural fit and a very quick but never ending learning curve. Our love grew and so did our love for cheese and wine. We are so fortunate to be in such a wonderful and supportive community. We couldn't have done all of this without you all.
