Champagne Aspasie was the very first grower-producer that we brought into our direct import portfolio, more than 20 years ago. What does that mean? We fell head over heels with their wines and wanted to do all we could to bring them to our customers in California. Since then, their wines have established something of a cult following among K&L fans... they are impeccably balanced and delicious, delivering just a fantastic glass of wine for a reasonable price.

This year's En Primeur campaign in Bordeaux was fast and furious, with properties releasing their prices nearly a month earlier than normal. The good news? Those prices are, over all, much better than last year, and there are scores of excellent wines in this vintage.
