Good afternoon everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying this cool weather!

Here are 2 new brews that have made their way to the shelves! Although these are produced by “big” brands, in my opinion the price to quality ratio is unmatched!

💥💥Southern Tier Brewing-
Irish Cream Stout

5.8% ABV Stout- Other

This Irish cocktail inspired Stout features notes of vanilla beans, fresh ground coffee, and Irish whiskey with a rich creamy finish. Dark malts combine with a subtle balance of hops to create a dark ale of comfort with a sure-fire salute to the famous spirit. Sláinte!

💥💥Cigar City Brewing-
Florida Man

8.5% ABV IPA- Double/ Imperial

The world needs heroes, and in our home state of Florida only a very special hero will do. A hero with a shark tooth around his neck, a Grim Reaper tattoo on his arm, and a rap sheet longer than his mama’s mustache. A hero who’s forgotten more about amateur taxidermy and alligator rasslin’ than you’ll ever know. What better way to pay tribute to our beloved Florida Man than with a big ol’ Double India Pale Ale brewed with a nearly-criminal amount of hops and a moderate bitterness that just about matches Florida Man’s general disposition. This hopped-up whopper of a beer is big in character and guaranteed to sear itself into your memory, just like “the world’s worst superhero,” Florida Man.

Citra, Mosaic, Columbus blend together to make this hop juice. Intentionally left hazy with yeast in suspension to create a soft mouthfeel and enhance the flavor of this wonderfully hoppy beer

🍷🍷🍷New Wine! 🍷🍷🍷

While we may not particularly specialize in wine..over the course of a few years of deliberately tasting different varietals and regions, wine culture is one everyone can enjoy and appreciate in my opinion!

These wines are a mix of value and quality. As some of you may know, some bottles can cost 1,000s of dollars and for good reason! For the majority of us a quality bottle is usually between 15-30$ and you can really get to experience something special for just a few dollars!

⭐️⭐️Krombacher : Hell Lager⭐️⭐️

This is a classic German style lager made by . The “Hell/Helles” style lager has a bit of sweetness on the finish along with a careful addition of hops which add a balanced and controlled amount of bitterness.

To me, the most notable thing about this beer is that the next day or the day after, you don’t feel as worn out compared to some American lagers. This is made with just malted barley, instead of cheaper (subjectively not lesser) ingredients like corn and rice.

We also have an American made version of this style , get both and compare it side by side🍺

🪐🪐🪐Bell’s Brewery : MARS 10.1% ABV🍻🍻🍻

Bottle date: 10/19/21

Originally, the first release in Bell’s Planet Series, Mars (The Bringer of War) is a double IPA with a complex hop character and a malty backbone. Notes of tropical fruit, citrus, pine, lemon, lime and pineapple are all present in both the aroma and flavor. Hopped at a ratio of about 3.4 pounds of hops per barrel, the recipe for Mars was developed from a trial batch called Larry’s Latest Double IPA brewed in our original brewery located adjacent to the Eccentric Café in downtown Kalamazoo.

Original release date: August, 2014

Released again in bottles and on draught in 2017.

Back for another voyage in the fall of 2021.

🍌Tucher: Hefeweizen🍺🍺🍺

Both of these are quality executions of the Bavarian hefeweizen style of wheat beer!

Hefeweizen are disguised by its lively carbonation, light, crisp body and unique yeast aroma consisting of banana, bubble gum and spices!

These aromas are made by top-fermenting yeast and the main difference in the Kristal-Weizen and Helles Hefe-Weizen is the filtering of yeast!

Kristal-Weizen is made to be crystal clear without yeast included in the bottling process.

Helles Hefe-Weizen are unfiltered and are bottled with a small amount of live-yeast!

This beer is made with Colorado grown malted barley, azacca and cascade hops for a light, citrusy pale ale!

It’s a collaboration with Winter Park which is a winter playground many visit to ski and snowboard! It has commissioned the Mary Jane Ale served to patrons after a day on the slopes since its conception and Upslope has recently taken on the production!

You can expect a light bodied brew with a touch of hops. Enjoy this pale ale after a long day of work or trail riding🍻

Winter Park Resort and Upslope Brewing collaborated to create a reimagined Mary Jane Ale, wanting it to be the beer guests crave first when they get off the mountain. 🍫🍫Moo-Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout🥛🥛

Artisan chocolate might just sound like a fancy term for chocolate, BUT the big difference is that most big brand chocolate you’ve had had been OVER-roasted on purpose in order to achieve a uniform flavor. Artisan chocolate retains a lot more nuance and complexity that lend a ton of characteristics in this milk stout!

Another misconception is that a milk stout contains milk or dairy and it DOES NOT. The “milk” part of a milk stout is due to the addition of milk sugar or lactose which gives a great sweetness and added texture🍻

From that collision poured this golden liquid hop juice. Oats and Spelt create a super rich malt base, taken to 11 with Triticale, while wave after wave of cosmic terpenes crash upon your tongue. Vic Secret, Citra, Belma and Nelson Sauvin create an exotic couch-locking hop combination, bringing notes of passion fruit, pineapple, strawberry and raspberry.
