If you know me, you know I LOVE pickle beer. My ultimate favorite so far was Pretoria Fields Brewing's one but they don't can it... Even though Alex is in charge of purchases, I always have my say... except here... he surprised me with this new Pickle Beer by Urban Artifact. It's on my to do list Sunday! I'll be back to share my thoughts on it!

Then, we have Shiner Beer Strawberry Blonde. A very nice light flavored beer! Definitely a go to if you like My Boy Blue or Abita Raspberry blonde!

Back in stock is the seasonal Southern Tier Brewing Company Irish Cream Stout! Get it while you can! ;-)

Sunday night off for us and enjoying this brand new wine we just received about 1 week ago... the more than wonderful Pugnitello!

A little more fruit forward than our Sagrantino and Papale Primitivo that you already LOVE but definitely more refined than the typical American basic Zinfandel!

One of the hardest grapes to find (not even on the Long's varietal grape table!!!)

Grown 100% in Italy, mainly Tuscany!

Don't be surprised to see this one in our monthly awarded wines in a near future (we just need to confirm supplies before awarding... that's where the experience comes in! Ahah!)

A Sandy & Alex approved Malbec!
Albaflor has a rich red color on appearance with an aromas of ripe dark fruits and hints of violets. The mouthfeel is concentrated with cherry notes and spices. The wine has a long finish with mature, seductive tannins.

Some of you probably noticed that this beer was not available anywhere since a long while... and you were right!

Theakston Brewery had stopped exporting to USA since 2013!!! And Guess what... it's back now and Alex managed, of course, to grab a few!!! Come taste this amazing legendary beer if you did not have the chance yet!! This beer is labeled as an "old ale" (also referred as Stock Ale)... The old ale are low attenuated beers with high levels of dextrins, creating a full malt body with plenty of character. Those stock ale are not very common because they take more time to produce bringing the price range a little bit higher than a plain and simple Ale. Cheers Alex!

We are thrilled to announce that we now have a wine from Morroco!

A beautiful blend by Bernard Magrez. Who is M. Magrez? "Simply" the owner of 4 Grands Crus Classés in Bordeaux and 42 Vineyards in the World! His course is pretty interesting!!

This wine is made of 60% Syrah, 30% Black Grenache, and 10% Tempranillo. It has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it presents aromas of red fruits and oak. On the palate, it is rounded, well-balanced, and has a persistent finish.

As you know, we LOVE Italian wines! And even more a grape varietal that doesn't even show on our grape varietal table! :D

We introduce to you: the Pugnitello!!

Pugnitello is a rare, ancient grape variety from Tuscany, thought to be from the province of Grosseto, that was rediscovered in the 1980s.

Pugnitello means "little fist" in Italian and refers to the vine's small, tight bunches of berries, which resemble a fist. The grape had been forgotten but is being revived thanks to the initiative by the University of Florence and a handful of local growers!!

What to expect when opening a bottle of Pugnitello, aside from happiness of course, is an intense red ruby wine with violet hues wine. The scent is slightly herbaceous, while the taste reveals a full-bodied, good acidity and very fine tannins

This specific one, Corte alla Flora, is in the Top 4 most popular Pugnitello with a critic's rating of 91 (the highest being 92).

We cannot wait to taste that one ourselves and will be back with more details in the comment once we do!

Ever had a Chateau-Neuf-Du-Pape? How abut a white one? ;-)
This beauty just came in! Aged 8 months in new oak barrels, this 14% abv wine will feel a little bit like a Malvasia or a White Grenache!

How about a Sancerre? You've had one before right? Bet it was always white? Well we now offer a red one! Made with 100% Pinot Noir Grapes using sustainable farming methods, it is fully fermented in Stainless Steel in order to preserve the fruit taste and is then aged in Oak Barrel for 1 year. It will have a soft attack on the palate with a maintained harmonious structure.
