Another crazy addition in our "Collectible crazy stuff" (sign to come soon in the store but you can find those right next to the first fridge) is this Equilibrium Brewery 6th batch of their Life after death star!

Great gift idea for all Star Wars fans ;-)

If you are familiar with the previous versions, here's what the brewery's website describes:
"Life After Death Star (Batch 6) starts off with a long boil to create the thick and decadent base you have come to expect from the series before adding shredded raw coconut, marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla, and Mostra Ghost Bear Espresso Blend coffee along with a touch of lactose. Symposium Bordeaux Supérieur!

It's deep ruby ​​color will charm your eyes followed by it's nose which offers an amazing freshness. It expresses notes red fruits and cedar combined with spices. The palate is delicious and expressive. The tannins are assertive and the acidity is supple, but quite fresh. A well-structured, fleshy and delicious wine.

Every month, Alex & I determine amongst the many wines we sample which one deserves a spotlight. 4 whites and 8 reds are selected throughout the year. 🍷

During the Wine Awards, the whites are paired with a special selection of charcuterie and cheese while the reds are EACH paired with a different plate of upscale food! This year, our caterer is POSH Home Dining and let me tell you, the menu they have elaborated so far is beyond this world!

You will feel like a celebrity upon your arrival with our red carpet themed pictures taken by Every.Last.Detail (winner of the Best of the 352 Photographer in 2024!) and memories will be captured all through the evening!

YOU HAVE YOUR WORD TO SAY!! You will decide which White and which Red is the best of the evening with your personal voting card. Results are disclosed the same evening and the Top 3 wines will be feature in our store for the following months!

The event takes place at Milla's at Making It Matthews located at 53 Laurel Pass in Ocala (right behind Burnyzz Speed Shop on Baseline)

Here's 2 new beers we have in stock (amongst a LOAD of others :-P We just can't try them all :-P )

On the left is Santa's White Christmas white Stout by Ten 10 Brewing Company. It has hints of coffee with a little bit of coconut and a little bit of caramel and a little bit of vanilla so... basically... it's delicious! It's a customer's request ;-)

On the right is more on my side of the beer spectrum; Mexican Style Lager, this one is by Red Clay Brewing Company. Light citrus flavor with a surprising, unexpected hint of wheat. Since I, Sandy, don't like the taste of wheat in a beer, I was not a fan but hey, if you like it, it's a nice surprise! ;-)
