The Hitching Post Mark Twain Lake Classic boat launch took off at 7A.M. 38 boats entered the tournament. Good luck, Fishermen! See you at the weigh-in this afternoon 3 P.M. drive through at The Hitching Post. Livewell check starts tomorrow morning at 6A.M. Boat launch at 7A.M.

Labor Day weekend is quickly approaching. On Saturday Triple Threat will be playing live music starting at 6PM. On Sunday we are hosting a Poker Run. All bikes and street legal vehicles welcome to join. After the poker run Live music by Matt Roberts Blues band! Bike games and burnout pit will be available after the poker run. Prizes available for winners. See you all soon!

On behalf of The Hitching Post and B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse) we would like to thank all participants and sponsors for their support with the 2nd Annual Mark Twain Lake Poker Run.

Special thanks to: Black Jack Marina, Indian Creek Marina, The Mark Twain Lake Sailing Association, 154 Marine, McDingers Bar and Grill, Dry Dock Restaurant, and The Hitching Post.

We went from approximately 80 poker players our first year to 230 poker players this year! The winner’s hand was 4 Aces with a 9. The winner donated $500.00 back to the other half of the pot to B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse).

The award ceremony was held at The Hitching Post with Live Music from the Rich Louden Band.
We received a lot of positive feedback and plan on making next year’s Poker Run the biggest and best event at Mark Twain Lake!
