Ive raced since 1994, from stock-8s, limited sportsman, renagade, late models, to open wheel modifieds. I love to race. I do anything to keep my fans on their feet, I love giving them something to watch and talk about..... I hate races where its follow the leader, I do not follow the leader, Im, every lap, always trying to pass the racer in front of me. I love talking with my fans, love pictures w
ith the kids, and anyone else, for that matter. My Uncle Carl took me to my first race, then every year after that. It was the Shrine 100, at Carolina Speedway. From then on, I always wanted to drive. In the late 1990's, I got my chance. Running a landscaping business, I had enough money, to pay my bills, and buy my first car. It was a Stock-8, Monte Carlo. I raced this class for about 12 years, from that I moved to late models, winning heat races, but never had the shocks and other needed equipment to win. I raced a grt chassis, after calling grt, they told me what shocks were good, I bought them, and went out and won my heat race, and led every lap, for 23 laps, fans on there feet, ending up in the wall.... I gave it all it had.... The car owner, Buster May, didnt like that so I washed my hands of that ride, and went back to my own cars.... After a two years out of a race car, due to a work related wreck, a neck and shoulder surgery, I traded around and got the open wheel modified. I went back to Bo Lane and we built this motor for my car. I called Kyle Strickler, bought all I needed on suspension, and he set up my first OWM. I then put a Larry Shaw car together and race it now....
I enjoy chatting with my fans, and racing. I also get on the track announcers if they dont mention my sponsors... Without them, I could not race... Im still waiting on that one big sponsor... I wouldnt trade my sponsors for nothing. Thanks for all you do....
