1) Monster Green Lager - RedDot BrewHouse
One of our personal favourites from Red Dot.
Green spirulina infused lager beer. Sparkling green, noble hopped, clean and crisp with hints of malt.
The description according to their website - it strengthens the immune system and eliminates AIDS virus.
2) Weizen - RedDot BrewHouse
A typical German-style wheat beer, Weizen is fruity, spicy, cloudy straw and flavourful. Noble hopped with subtle bitterness. Showcasing vanilla, spice and fruit notes.
3) Alt-O - Düsseldorf Altbier - Binjai Brew
Binjai Brew – named after NTU’s Binjai Hall where three engineering students started their beer-making journey, they have come a long way since.
Altbier is a style of beer brewed in the historical region of Westphalia and around the city of Düsseldorf, Germany. Its name comes from it being top-fermented, an older method than the bottom fermentation of other lager beers. This ale is darker in color, coffee-like bitterness, nutty caramel flavours.
4) Plan B - Passionfruit Milkshake IPA - Binjai Brew
With a thick and heavy mouthfeel, hazy golden hue, balanced passionfruit aroma, this interesting IPA is sure to delight your tastebuds.
5) B Hazy - NE IPA - Binjai Brew
We love the arty design of this can. This New England IPA is medium bodied, hazy golden hue, with intense fruity flavours.
6) Hammerhead West Coast IPA - WildBrew
With a tagline "Drink beer. Save Wildlife." How could anyone refuse?
The HAMMERHEAD WEST COAST IPA is a gentle beast that guarantees your danky, dry, bitter West Coast IPA flavours all in a dangerously easy going, day sipper.
7) Oktoberfest Amber Lager - Brewerkz
This exquisite seasonal brew is a deep amber delight with biscuity bread crust aroma and hazelnut overtones, malty rich palette and a balanced bitter aftertaste.
8) Circuit Breaker - Brewerkz
Celebrate making it through the Circuit Breaker, and hopefully Phase 3 comes soon!
‘Circuit Breaker Hazy Pale Ale’, a new take on traditional pale ale brewed with heaps of oats and wheat for a silky mouthful. With chockfull of juicy, fruity flavours like mango, grapefruit and passionfruit.
9) Rose Oolong Tea Pale Ale - Sunbird Brewing Company
Brewed exclusively in limited batches, a fascinating blend inspired by the versatility of tea leaves. The fragrance of crushed rose buds and rare-orchid infused with exquisite oolong tea leaves handpicked from the Wuyi High Mountain. This harmonises a generous fruity and rose perfume with woody and floral notes that is intense, complex but yet well-balanced.
10) A Day in August - Alive Brewing Co & Brewlander
Day in August is a collaboration beer between local brewers - Brewlander and Alive Brewing. This “rojak” (mixed) style of an ale was created to reflect the rich mixed cultures that represents Singapore, taking inspiration from the different spices and ingredients used in our daily meals.
Loosely based on the witbier style, the beer was made with mixed strains of wild yeast that ferments best at Singapore’s ambient temperature to create interesting tropical fruit flavours. Kaffir lime zest, black pepper corn, coriander seeds were added into the mix to create beautiful soft layers of flavours. Expect refreshing citrus from the kaffir lime, followed by a pleasant mix of subtle spices, and rounded off with a pillowy texture.
Cheers to the quality breweries featured this month!
