💪Kick off 2025 with our first Community Workshop, where we’ll explore the protein-packed Macho sake series from Gunma’s oldest brewery, Makino Shuzo.

The Macho lineup is brewed with minimally polished sake rice, with polishing ratios ranging from 70% to 90%. Less polishing means more protein left in the rice—and more protein means more muscle! To complement these bold and robust sakes, we’re serving up the ultimate pairing: crispy, juicy fried chicken.

Thank you all the participants for coming with the eager questions! Taketsuru san and Masaki san were impressed by how passionate you are!

Masaki san and we promised that we will conduct more brewery focused events by inviting them to Singapore, and maybe a restaurant collab too!

Yes, Taketsuru-san is coming to Singapore as a guest speaker for this event!

✨1st part of the event will be the Masterclass on Kioke 木桶, i.e. wooden tank brewing. Don't miss the chance to hear the stories directly from Taketsuru-san!

✨Shochu Night happening on 30th October! Don't miss the chance to taste 5 types of special cocktails, that are only served on the night!

Let's pre-celebrate the World Shochu and Awamori Day on 1st Nov!
In collaboration with .sg, we are highlighting 6 types of shochu in the photo to be served in the traditional ways and as special cocktails~!

Date: 30 Oct 2024
Time: 6-10PM L.O. 9:30PM
Venue: Suiraku Singapore 73 Neil Road Singapore 088901
Food Menu: Regular ala-carte menu will be available as well as 2 SPECIAL KYUSHU DISHES prepared by Chef Jing

This is not a shochu flight, so don't worry if you're new to shochu!
You get to pick the food and drink you would like on the night.

Reservation is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome depending on the availablity!
Simply book through our Toreta system or google, and please indicate that you're booking for the Shochu Night.
