Hi. The store is open all Easter with normal hours of Mon - Fri 6am to 6pm and Sat/ Sun 8am to 6pm.

So I couldnt buy in my usual flaky pastry for my Lamb, chicken, veg pie (Scott makes his own pastry and beef fillings for his awesome traditional Kiwi pie). I ended up buying a vegan flaky. Mmm. So here is my vegan Ratatouille pie (dedicated to my Waldorf graduants post 2007 who had to endure the movie...more than once).

So, I prefer a double espresso paleo (k**b of butter added to the top). To save time when ordering I have a small cappa with cinnamon. (small size because I am slightly lactose intolerant.)
What do you like?
Do you have a Nespresso machine? What pods do you buy?
Do you prefer espresso fresh grind?
I am looking for a robust domestic machine which will fit on my bench space, and have its own water. Remember I am a dairy and not a cafe. I don't have coffee skills.
Breville Pro - pods or Breville Barrista - grind beans? Please respond, They are both $1000

You will find in the store local produce - such as the free range size 8 egg from Shelvington farm, Otaki. (they are sold singular - so you can buy 1 or a tray of 20) Titahi Bay - food for freedom crackers and granola GF, V. Hand made pies by Temptations - Otaki. (Scot makes his own pastry and fillings are all real beef.) Waikawa Glenn pure pressed, award winning olive oils. Dark Horse beans and filter coffee. My fresh food is a range of DF, Veg, V, GF. For my "Ready to Eat" meals my protein comes from Saville Gourmet Butcher, Levin. My fresh comes from Oxford Fresh (local and online and delivers),

A huge shoutout to our regulars! Thank you for your patronage. As we are adjusting to the expressway that is now through Otaki, The Manakau Store is your first dairy travelling north from Wellington (and open weekdays at 6am. Weekends 8am). Travelling south we are your last dairy before Wellington. Sorry we don't have public toilets but The Greenery (a fraction south of the closed Quarter Acre cafe) or going north - Levin adventure park have loos. We have also lost our master scoop queen Nikita Burlace to the big lights of Auckland University- studying Food Tech, miss her to bits. Thanks for coming to The store. ###
