Gustave Lorentz Cremant D'Alsace Brut Ros'e
This French Ros'e is Salmon in colour and great for celebrations and is made from 100% Pinot Noir Grapes which is full of charm and elegance. This lightly sparkling, pale pink ros'e is delightfully crisp and light with a fresh finish and a subtle nose of strawberries and raspberries.

This Rose is definitely a favorite here in the Macvine Office.

This Shiraz is from Margaret River, in Australia it is a deep red with garnet hues in colour, on the nose, aromas of plum and blackberries with notes of spices. High tannins. Well-balanced in acidity. Bold and structured red wine in style. Pair with Beef Steak.

We all know Margaret River is a great region for cabernet, but Xanadu seems to have a special formula.

We've been tasting new Italian arrivals this morning...

• Fidora Pinot Grigio 2016 - Good aromatics, has evolved well in bottle and got a little richer on the palate. Organic, well priced.
• Alpha Zeta 2017 Pinot Grigio - new vintage - clean, good fruit weight on palate, texture, balanced - offer great value
• Il Faggio Montepulciano 2016 - very clean, beautiful bright fruit aromas, easy drinking soft and apparochable with just enough dry tannins
• Rubiolo 2017 Montepulciano - slight reductive character , palate is fine with good acidity, tannins, and reasonable length
• Fidora Valpo 2016 - light colored, subtle, soft and elegant, with really good acidity and structure - good summer red 12.5% alc. - serve lightly chilled?
• Alpha Zeta Valpo Ripasso 2016 - richer, fruitier style, with those dried fruit, raisiney notes, higher alcohol 13.5%, more body, more fruit - great value for Ripasso
• Poggio Filetto 2016 Chianti Superiore DOCG - looking good following the very good 2015 we had before, very approachable, round and fruity, with firm tannins - well priced
