Shanky was always one to buck the trend. He liked the idea of Irish Whiskey, but he didn't like the burn. He liked the taste of cream, but he didn't like the texture... and he loved stout, which is black. So he had a lightbulb moment & Shanky's Whip was born! A blend of black Irish Whiskey, Irish spirits and the delicious natural flavour of cream & vanilla.

A basic sour includes a base liquor, sour and sweet and is always shaken. Here, we're using vodka as the base, we add egg white for texture (but that's optional) & change up the sweet element with a 🍒 flavoured liqueur. Too easy!

The only distillery on the Isle of Skye, Talisker produces a unique style of whisky, half way between a gentle, salty, smoky West Highland malt and something smokier from Islay. Robust and punchy, peat plays a leading role on the nose, backed up with honey, leather and spice and a touch of chili-pepper heat.

The Appleton Estate Mai Tai 🍹

You will need - 2 parts Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve, 1/2 part Almond Syrup, 1/2 part fresh lime juice, 1/2 part orange curacao

To make - combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled and pour into a glass. Garnish with a lime shell and fresh mint 👌
