Texas Malt, Bourbon cask finish… sound good?

Irish Whiskey,

Long before America was discovered, the Irish were already distilling whiskey, and they are still at it.

A combination of both countries, Irish whiskey finished in Bourbon casks. The sweetness of Bourbon with the smoothness of triple distilled spirit.

Cask of the month,
200 years of whiskey distilling is celebrated by the Lagavulin 8 year old release. It will come as no surprise the casks brings signature elements of peat, seaweed, clove and iodine among others with it.
As a double distilled spirit at 95 percent distill capacity, expect a cleaner, smoother spirit cut, retaining more of the phenols than most others.

The casks were raised with a #4 Char, known as the ‘alligator char’. Dip your nose in and smell the vanilla, marzipan, a hint of leather and tones of sweet toasted spices and caramel sugars. A combination of what sets the distilleries of Lagavulin apart with bourbon undertones. A cask to enhance your unique finishing.
