It is with great sadness that on Wednesday we said farewell to our beloved and missed husband, Dad, Papa, Grumpa and friend. Thank you so much to all our frinds and family who joined us to help celebrate his life. We have loved hearing your stories of Russell and the impact he had in your lives. Thank you too for all your love and support.

We have spent lots of time sharing our amazing memories of Russell, how kind he was, his fantastic humour, his sense of adventure, the fun and laughter he created and above all his endless love. We will forever cheerish these memories and celebrate his love throughout our lives.

When you next raise a glass, please think of Russell. X

Dear All,

The time has come for me to finally hang up my apron, and for Sophie and I to start a new adventure.

Seasoned with sadness and a pinch of tears, we will be closing the doors of Restaurant 27 as of 6th of August 2023.

It has been a fantastic 14 years and this cannot be achieved without our fabulous team we have had during our journey.

We can only thank you for your support and loyalty over the years, we will miss you greatly and the Saturday nights will never be the same again.

We would like to take this special opportunity to say huge thank you to Russell, our wine supplier for his professionalism, support and friendship. The bond between food and wine can never be underestimated.

We are so proud of what we have achieved and we exceeded our own expectations of putting Portsmouth on the culinary map.

Hopefully we will have a chance to see you once again before we finally close.
