Our third and final beer:

Dreaming Of...HBC 586 (7%) - This beer showcases the fantastic HBC 586 hop and gives it the DDH treatment. Part of Track's Dreaming Of... series, this beer is known for its big pineapple flavour and clean, dry finish.

I am absolutely Dreaming Of cracking one of these open on Christmas Day!

Our next beer from is...

New Vibrations (6.5%) - Another hazy, New England style beer from Track. This one is built on a pilsner malt with flaked wheat and oats to bring a bright and hazy delight. A soft brioche malt perfectly complements the fruity notes from the Galaxy and Idaho 7 hops. Expect notes of pineapple, guava, melon, orange and grapefruit with a beautifully clean finish.

We are absolutely VIBING with this beer!

Our first beer profile of the day:

Invisible Frequencies (4.8%) - This New England style pale has a lovely softness thanks to a base of pilsner, oat and wheats. Citra and Idaho 7 bring a juicy fruit taste of pineapple and papaya and some mango on the finish.

A fruity, hoppy, immensely crushable beer that you could happily drink all night!

The final Arbor Ales beer to feast your eyes upon!

Lager (5.2%) - Let's say this really does do what it says on the tin. A crisp, refreshing lager from Arbor that goes down unbelievably easily. Packed with malty goodness at the front and and a touch of bitterness at the back.

And that's right folks - it's gluten free too!

Mosaic (4%) - Another single-hop superstar from Arbor, this time showcasing the Mosaic hop. This is heavily hopped to provide bold floral and tropical fruit flavours and aromas.

And yes, it's gluten-free too!

The fourth Arbor Ales beer under the spotlight!

Simcoe (4%) - A heavily hopped session pale ale brewed with large quantities of, you guessed it, Simcoe hops! This beer has distinct citrus and pine flavours and aromas.

Not only is it super tasty, but it's also GLUTEN-FREE AND VEGAN FRIENDLY. A beer that we can ALL enjoy!

Beer number three from Arbor Ales :

Space Hardware (6.6%) : New England IPA brewed with hops aplenty, including Ekuanot, Galaxy, Mosaic and Simcoe. It’s naturally cloudy, super juicy and downright dangerously drinkable - very difficult to just have one of these. A must have for anyone who loves a hazy, hop-fuelled NEIPA.

Motueka (4%) : A gluten-free single hop pale ale brewed with the Motueka hop, a premier New Zealand hop. A seriously refreshing beer with big flavours of lime and tropical fruits.

C-Bomb (4.7%) - An American style pale ale that is brewed with a large helping of the citra hop. A big, citrusy beer that starts slightly sweet but ends with a lovely dry finish.

Introducing our final beer - and possibly one of the best named beers going...

Baron Von Greenback (6.5%) - A big IPA greedily double dry hopped with Idaho 7. A great big toad of a brew, with a pondful of dank florals, ripe mango, and pink grapefruit leaping out the can.

Come for the crazy can design, stay for the big flavours and beautiful body. Anyone seeing you drinking this will be positively *green* with envy...

Our second beer under the spotlight is...

Immortality of the Crab (4.5%) : This is a hazy pale ale dry hopped with Bru-1 Lupomax & Idaho 7 for a beer of infinite balance and omnipotence. Pineapple pincers squeeze bright florals and dankness together.

Very tasty, very drinkable - very Sureshot.

Our first beer profile from !

Wilson (5.2%) - New England pale ale brewed with Citra, Galaxy & Mosaic. Built on an oaty body for a satisfying gulp, full of tropical fruitiness from a high dry hop.

I've been recommending this to customers every day - it's an absolutely excellent New England pale where every mouthful is a proper treat!

Neptune Brewery Beer Spotlight Number 5!

Orange Creek (6%) : Now I don't know about you, but there is very little that makes me feel more Christmassy than a chocolate orange - so this beer should really help get you in the festive spirit! 🎄🍊🍫

Orange Creek is a luxurious and rich porter, reminiscent of a delicious cup of cocoa, lifted by zesty flavours from the candied orange peel and Mandarina Bavaria hops. An indulgent take on this classic pairing - good thing we're in the season for indulgence!

Time for our fourth beer from Neptune Brewery!

Pieces of Eight (8%) : This porter is a treat from the moment you open the can, getting a hit of fresh mint on the nose. It follow with flavours of dark chocolate and treacle, infused with notes of fresh mint to lift the palate, with gentle alcohol warmth and hints of spice from the hops.

Neptune Brewery Beer Spotlight 3/7

Sunken City (4%) : The last pale from Neptune, brewed using HBC 586 & Cryo Pop giving heaps of juicy citrus upfront, followed by a sweet tropical fruit medley, this is the ultimate easy-drinking beer. Its short bitter finish and light body makes this Session IPA a real thirst-quencher.

Equinox (5.2%) - A single hopped IPA showcasing the Ekuanot hop to provide an earthy, piney flavour with just a touch of citrus, leading into a bitter finish.

The first Neptune Brewery beer under the spotlight today is Ezili!

Ezili (4%) : Named after the Haitian goddess of rivers and streams, this citrusy pale is brewed with centennial and mosaic hops.

It's Ezili one of the most sessionable beers we have available and one we're sure pale ale aficionados will take an instant liking to!

Announcing our Brewery of the Day for today... Neptune Brewery! Hailing from just outside of Liverpool, Neptune have been brewing naturally conditioned, vegan friendly craft beers since 2015.

We have a whopping SEVEN beers, featuring pale ales and darker beers, from Neptune in, so you can see how highly we rate them.

Stick with us throughout the day as we profile each of those seven yummy beers in more detail.

We're open today from 1pm to 6pm for you to come down and grab yourself some beers for the weekend. Even if we're closed, you can ask any member of staff in The Thirsty Duck to grab you any beers that catch your eye.

Last, but by no means least...

Dust my Broom (5.8%) : This is a bright, juicy, biscuity pale, packed full of Simcoe hops. This pale ale delivers a beautiful balance between a fuller, more rounded malt profile, and heady Simcoe hops (with a little Citra on the hot side to back it up). Tropical, piney and balanced, with a lovely mouthfeel.

Our fourth Deya in stock:

Software Update Needed (5.8%) :

Brewed in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops using YCH 301 Trial Cryo Hops® Brand pellets. This is a new trial hop product and the first time it has been used in Europe.

This beer is dry hopped with the Simcoe® variety. Tropical fruit and pine set against a fresh herbaceous backdrop. A big, hazy tropical NEIPA that is sure to go down very nicely.

Time for our third Deya spotlight!

Entirely Beyond (4.5%) : This beer was brewed with a small amount of biscuit malt and chit and oats for a full body. Hot side hops are El Dorado and Sabro for tropical fruit and a hint of coconut sweetness. Dry hopped with Citra Lupomax and Azacca for mango, lychee and orange. As sessionable and easy drinking as they come.

Our next Deya profile...

Meet me in the City (6.5%) : A massively dry hopped IPA with Citra Cryo and Galaxy. This beer is ultra smooth and ultra hoppy - soft citrus and tropical fruit bomb! Even by Deya's standards, the soft, pillowy mouthfeel with this is a real highlight.
