This Sunday 2nd June we’ll be having our wine flights again, still only £15 per head for 4 different wines paired with 4 different styles of cheese from 2pm until 4pm, if you’d like to book a table please call, message or pop into the shop, the weather is looking good again 🍷🥂

We’ll be having our very first Wine Flight (with cheese 🧀 pairing by our resident Master of Cheese, Bronwen!) this coming Sunday, 19th May from 2pm to closing time

This is for limited numbers with only 6 pre-booked spaces available so if you’d like a Sunday afternoon enjoying a selection of wine and cheese please let us know or call in to the shop to book your place at only £15 per head

Fingers crossed the weather’s lovely and you can sit outside at our beautiful country location, pet friendly and lots of ice cream and pop available in the Tea Rooms and Farm Shop for the kids

This is a big, rich and warm Languedoc wine, although quite serious it is juicy, fruity and soft enough to be a very easy drinker.

This gorgeous new wine went down very well at our wine tasting last Thursday and is now back in stock.

Some of you may have already met her over the last few weeks, she’s fabulous, knowledgeable and a great asset to the Shop

Having worked for a local cheese company for the last 30 years, she has a wealth of knowledge, an exceptional palate and will soon be completing her Level 2 WSET in wines and spirits

New sparkling red in the shop today!!

This sparkling wine is an intense ruby red with purplish highlights. The bouquet is intense and elegant with hints of Morello cherry and berries. The wine is dry and full bodied with nuances of red fruit. Good balance and acidity 🍇🍾

New Orange Wine on the tasting barrel this weekend!!🍊

When life gives you oranges….. make orange wine! “Ceci n’est pas une Orange” as Magritte would say, and he would be right as it’s not made with oranges, but it’s also not your traditional red, white or rose wine. It’s a new thing, it does not fit into the boxes and we love it! 🧡

Pop into the shop to try this new French orange wine, it will be on the tasting barrel all weekend and available for £10.99 🍊

Rioja Crianza 🍇 grab a bargain while you can, due to using an older design label the vineyard has heavily discounted this Crianza rather than returning the pallet back to the vineyard for re-labelling. Be quick though as we have a limited amount and this is also available to our wholesale customers 🍷🍇🍷

Happy International Syrah Day! 🍇

Syrah wines are beautifully coloured, flavoursome, powerful and so very versatile it is hard not to like them. At Oak Wines we have a wide variety of (and Shiraz!) wines, with blends and single-varieties in all different styles and from different places, for you to enjoy and to celebrate this international grape, any day of the year!

Chateau Moulin de Mallet, 2020, Bordeaux🍷🍇

A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, farmed using Lutte Raisonee principles, with low yields and fermentation in tank and short ageing in barrel.

This is a cracking red wine, deep dark colour, concentrated black and red fruits, overtones of cedar, cherry and warm mulled spices. The finish is long, ripe and earthy, with a faint oak character that adds weight to the finish.

Wine of the month is the fantastic Le Charme Merlot from the South of France 🍷

A ruby red appearance, with lovely cassis and raspberry flavours and slightly spicy hints. A lot of flavours on the palate with a hint of black pepper at the finish
