Cask Ale & music on vinyl is back this Friday (14th July) at the public bar,
The Wildfowler Inn, Greyabbey from 4pm to 10.30pm.

BEERS
We will have 3 beers on tap.

• Scrabo Gold 4.6%
• Hip Hop 4.4%
• Black Goose 3.8%

£4/pint £2/half pint

Don’t forget to bring along vinyl records to play.

PAYMENT
We’re still low tech. No ordering apps or card machines. Cash if possible. Card payments can be taken in the restaurant next door up to about 8.30pm each night.

Here is the cask beer list for later this week at The Ivy Bar (Falls’ Bar), Castle Street, Newtownards.

OPENING TIMES
4pm-11pm
Fri 3rd - Sat 4th March.
Last orders 10.30pm.

CASK BEERS
Will be from Modest Beer and Ards breweries. We hope to have 5 different beers available each day from the following -

MODEST BEER
Strawberry Sour - 4.8% - a cloudy strawberry infused sour beer.

ARDS BREWING
Ivy Bar Pale - 4.6% - a citrussy cask hopped pale ale.

Pig Island - 4.7% - pale ale made with Admiral hops.

Black Goose - 3.8% - a black ale - malty with dark malt flavours to finish.

Citra Pale - 4.7% - single hopped citra ale.

Flower Power - 4.4% - pale ale made using locally picked elderflowers.

£4/pint £2/half pint.

PAYMENT
We’re going low tech. No ordering apps or card machines. Cash if possible. Card payments can be taken for tokens in the front bar and tokens exchanged in the rear bar for your beer.

And don’t forget to bring along some vinyl records to play. Any genre, any era. We love to hear something we haven’t heard before.

THE BEST BEER 🍺

There are some great pairings that just work - wine & cheese, bangers (Ballyboley of course) & mash, and our special favourite cask ale & vinyl music.

We hope to bring this classic combination to The Ivy Bar (Falls’ Bar), Castle Street, Newtownards on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th March from 4pm-11pm.

Cask ales from Ards Brewery and Modest Beer.

And don’t forget to bring your vinyl to play. It’s amazing how the variety of music that people bring can create a different vibe each night.

Twisted Kettle
Lost Horizon - mocaccino milk stout 6% (their first beer in cask. Very limited supply).

Bullhouse
Dry Your Ryes - rye pale ale 4.6%

Ards
(Some of these may make an appearance)
Pig Island Pale - Admiral single hopped pale 4.6%
Scrabo Gold - pilsner & wheat pale 4.2%
Befuggled - fresh hop pale ale 4.4%
Citra - single hopped pale 4.6%
As yet unnamed - Bramling Cross single hopped amber 4.9%
Flower Power - elderflower pale 4.4%

We hope to have 3 - 4 different beers on at a time while stocks last.

MUSIC
Trying to come up with themes for the vinyl each night caused too many disagreements. And that was just in my own head!
Just bring something you like. Interesting and unusual is good. Something to create the perfect soundtrack for beer and chat.
