So the bar is beginning to get there. Just a few wines by the glass are ready for you.....plus beer cider and ale of course. Amapola will officially open on Friday 24th November. Whoop whoop I am off on Holiday! Luckily the customer service is going up a notch and the brilliant Ben is looking after the shop. He will be in Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10-5, and on Saturday 16th 10-1. The shop will be CLOSED on Saturday 23rd. See you on the other side.....(Wednesday 27th)......

9 years ago I opened my little empire. It has never been tidy. But with lovely customers and Shopdog we are still here....... The 9th customer gets a bottle of champagne!
New vino alert.
Feels like a Riesling type of day. This halbtrocken Mosel offering from Raimund Prum fits the bill perfectly. Brimming with citric fruit and a dash of moreish sweetness, the only problem seems to be that the bottle always seems to be empty.
Mini Tour of the Naughty Room.
After the recent tastings some great new wines have arrived in the naughty room, Barbaresco, Chianti Classico, beautiful modern Rioja and some fantastic different Spanish whites.

Madam may spend all her days lounging on the sofa, but a Sunday walk to Sidmouth allows her to dabble in her passion.....sound on.
