IF Bonfire Night activities are taking place despite the weather PLEASE, PLEASE do remember to check your bonfires carefully before you set light to them. A shovel or other sharp implement could hurt them. If you don't want to move the pile, have a good rummage with a broom periodically to rouse them, however, there also may be little hoglets so again, please check carefully. Light your bonfire in the corner rather than the middle which offers them an escape route.
