Colchester Homebrew Supplies Ltd was founded in 2008 and quickly grew to be one of the largest specialist Homebrewing and Winemaking retailers in the East of England. With a wide range of beer and wine making kits (around 110+ Beer kits and 90+ wine kits - most of which we have made) and equipment available from stock, we can provide help and advice to both novice and experienced brewers. ical store is easily accessible from the A12 and we have ample free parking available right outside our door to make it easy to load large or heavy items directly into your car. If you are unable to get into us, we offer full, nationwide delivery on a next working day basis via both Royal Mail and our preferred Overnight Couriers, APC. We accept all major UK issued Credit and Debit Cards and do not charge any additional handling or processing fees once our £5.00 minimum card charge has been satisfied. No minimum purchase level applies to cash sales.

We will be closing at 11.30 on Monday 1st July as Sam and I will be attending a family funeral. We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 2nd July.

Youngs have relaunched their Harvest range of kits. They are now 1.8kgs rather than 1.5kgs, so will have more body, but the price has increased to £17.99.

Youngs have released the first batch of their replacement "Harvest" range of beer kits. They are now packed in 1.8kg cans, rather than the 1.5kg cans previously used, and the price has increased to £17.99 from £13.99.Which of the following kits would you be interested in if I were to stock them?

Despite the weather currently being awful, I'm hopeful that the Bank Holiday is going to be nice so, whilst we'll be open as normal tomorrow, the shop will be closed on Monday 6th May. (We'll also be closed on Monday 27th May for the second BH)

Update on Youngs Harvest, John Bull and Muntons Handcrafted ranges.

Youngs are still attempting to find a manufacturer for their Harvest and John Bull ranges, so these kits remain unavailable. Muntons advise that the Geordie and Muntons Connoisseur kits are the closest alternative kits to these ranges.

Sadly, Muntons recently announced the withdrawl of the "Handcrafted" range, which included the popular "Smugglers Ale" and "Winter Warmer" kits. At the moment, there are no direct alternatives to these kits, but if anything similar becomes available, you can rest assured that I will add it to the shelves as these are two of my favourite ever kits.
